 I was wondering in Betany came back after she is take by the grey wardens.

I want to know if it is possible to keep her as a companion for the whole campaign?
It sucks to have just one possibility of a healer, Anders (instead of Hawke himself)...

I think she comes back during the final battle.

From the guide book it says as a warden she comes back for a few cameo appearances throughout the game. In the final battle you can run into her and recruit her back. I wish I could of had her for the whole campaign, she is the most awesome mage in the game.

I can confirm she comes back for the final battle because I am done with my first play through.

what happens with carver? i really like him and i know if i take him into the deep roads with anders he becomes a warden and if i leave him a templar, is there any way to let them stay the whole story?

No.
One way or another, you will lose them for the rest of the game, except for maybe one or two cameos.

Meh, I would have liked to have been able to keep them, but it's not a big deal IMO.

I think it is Bioware's way of saying "Hawke really doesn't HAVE any family left! Except for a crummy dumb uncle and a cousin who has a bow."

I personally prefer the templar / circle mage option. It makes it even more difficult to choose which side you need to be on in the end.

Lol I remember when I beat the Ancient Wraith then Bethany gets sick I was >_< why did you have to get infected after we just a beat a monster that nearly beat us

Can anyone tell me if you get both of them (Carver/Bethany) back in both cases (Wardens or Templar/Circle) and if they come with some sort of specializations?

Not true, I got Carver back in my party after the final battle and he's still there post-campaign.

 The ONLY way to have Bethany in your party the whole game, is to beat it once on any difficulty and then restart the campain as a diffrent class. Bethany will be in your party and Carver will be the one who dies instead of her.
