Did I really get screwed over? I've done everything needed to follow the romance path with Isabella... Yet I miss the questioning belief quest because it did not pop up on screen saying I had it and now Isabella is gone for good? I'm already doing quests for Meredith after killing the Arishok so I assume I lost my chance to ever see her again it seems. UGH really? is it too late? have I lost isabella due to something that miniscule? I feel like I got punished for no good reason, just because I missed ONE quest.
Short Version: omg Isabella is gone. I'm already past the Arishok fight. I wont see her again?

Yeah, once she's gone she is gone for good according to the official guide.

That's a shame. I ended Merill's potential romance for Isabella and now I got nothing left. Ah well. Lost Bethany as a companion and now Isabella. Geez... Thanks for the answer

Yeah, Bioware really made it more difficult to romance people this time without knowing exactly what to do, the same goes for when party members leave you.
It is possible to lose at least four people if you're not careful, Carver and Bethany will leave at some point no matter what and one is choice between one person or the other.

If thats all it says then the guide is wrong(which isn't surprising). Assuming your friendship if high enough, probably maxed. Then she comes back before the final fight with the Qunari.

I lost Isabela, too. I was trying to work on raising friendship with her when the conflict rolled around and too little, too late for Hawke. She never came back.

I lost her shortly before the end of the second act. Apparently, I hadn't moved her friendship meter very much.

Maybe you fellow isabella-heads can help - I gave her a "That was fun only" response to our first (and only) sex session. Has that stuffed me up for any future relationship?
