 i am getting this issue “The application will not run on a Windows guest account or an account with insufficient privileges” and no the fixes didnt help and although they said beta patch wouldnt fix that issue i just tried any way and no dice of course. so i am guess i am waiting for a real patch fix.

Patch works well on my core i7, and it no longer asks for disks from non-existent drives. Thanks guys.

I'm not having any of the issues that are listed in the fix associated with this patch, so I don't need it I'm guessing. My issues are with the video where I'm getting black patches at times in certain areas. Will there be a fix for that later?

To Viscera1969 - The patch is not your problem. All who are having the windows guest account issue need to disable UAC in windows. That should fix it. (Several have posted about this issue in the original save problem thread.

Without the patch, I get the aborted Release Date Check (Click "Accept", goes to 100%, closes without allowing activation). Any further attempts to launch result in nothing happening. With the patch, I get absolutely nothing the first time I try to launch. Well, the config still pops up, lucky me.

I've uninstalled my antivirus, turned off my firewall, attempted everything on my normal account (with admin privileges) and on the built in admin account, not sure what else I can do.

i am having that exact same problem tryed all the workarounds and still nothing doing my nut in.

Corrected "drive open" issue that was preventing my game logining into game site. My PC is affected by nothing else covered in this patch.

Just an idea. It might be nice to sticky a bugs list thread.

In that vein, I'd like to report a weird bug. (Or is it a feature?) From time to time, I find that I am suddenly unable to target anything with my selected creature. When I mouse-over an enemy, the sword icon does not appear; if I click an AoE spell, I can move the targeting reticle around, but clicking does not fire the spell; and I can't even click on the ground anywhere to move, even though the pointer is gold, not gray. I have noticed that when this happens, if I look at the profile picture for that character, it's kind of whited over, as when you mouse-over the picture. Usually, if I click it a couple times, it fixes itself. I don't know why it does that, but there you go.

So I have the popup black screen of termination and after spamming it I've noticed it's saying "Program too big to fit in memory".  I can't help but think thats nonsense, as I have plenty of memory, and my hardware is plenty good enough to be running it at the recommended specs.  Anyone? Anyone?  Bueller? Bueller?:pinched::pinched:
