Varric is the most fun and I really enjoy his banters with the rest of the group and he has a rather unique take on some quests in the game.  I also really adore Aveline, the square jawed stalwart types always have a soft spot in my heart  
Plus, it was Aveline who came to my Hawke after "All that Remains" to comfort her on my first run since I didn't do any romances (except Sebastian but that wasn't till after act 2 was over).  I don't know if its predetermined by who is with you the longest, or who is highest in friendship or what, but I thought that was a lovely follow up to the events.

In fact, I would redo the game as an aerial shooter that is just Varric riding around on dragon-form Flemeth, sniping Darkspawn and conversing. Those two should have had further interaction, I say.

Aveline, she was a bro and didn't even have the man parts. I would say Merril is next but her whole last quest was bugged can't even begin to figure out what happened after that. My third favourite would have to go to Anders. He in my opinion made the game, I figured he was doing something shady maybe a soul swap or something but not that. I loved how they didn't hint that he was essential to the story before that point.

i love merrill. and varric is awesome. i think it's unfair to say isabela is like morrigan.. they are similar in that they're both incredibly hot, physically. also both are afraid of commitment, at first, but for completely different reasons. and personality-wise they are tooootally different. i like morrigan more than isabela. but isabela is also really cool.

i like anders.. but i miss da: awakening anders. i like fenris. i like all the companions really. except i HATE carver. he's such a douche

I think Aveline is a good choice from BioWare. She is realistically manly (since I imagine fem. warriors not being too good looking), and she is a tough dude. In terms of coolness, that will have to go to Fenris. Varric is a good storyteller, and a clever one at that. Isabella is just awkward lol

Aveline she is really tough outside but actually just an big softy. Could probly beat Oghren in an drinking game (I would love to see that)

Isabela, is because beneath her gut busting humor and innuendo, she is a very deep character.

Merrill is just so cute! I like Isabella and some of her comments, they can be funny "I like big boats, I cannot lie" Varric is just bad ass.

My party is Varric,Bethany,Aveline. I like all of them Caver kinda pissed me off and glad he died in my story lul. Kinda harsh, but yeah. Everyone else is alright, though Anders is alright, but can I go with liking Justice?

Definitely Anders. I had empathy for him because he is a "wounded" soul, and he was charming, handsome, and romantic (although I wish he spent more time being romantic). I respected that he had such conviction in his beliefs also.

Varric is one funny bugger, put him in a party with isabela and bethany, oh the joy, but i still miss oghren the foulmounthed/beer drinking dwarf from hell

But then again DA2 has isabela who is more or less a female version of oghren

Merrill, Varric(oddly enough thought I would despise him...but he is awesome as well as hilarious...THANK GOD), n Bethany in that order... I also like Fenris alot.
