So i've been playing dragon age 2 now for abit and are abit confused. One min im fighting Quanri and then next i'm meeting there leader are they my friends or do we have a massive battle to come. Or is it becasue when they have been shipped wrecked some of them have decided to take matters into there own hands? can some 1 clear this up for me please... and give me an insight to their story as I'm a little lost,

Since this is the spoilers, they believe in a certain code and at the end of act 2 I believe you will have to fight them. They will kill many people. and they become a big threat. On the upside you get to fight their leader in a duel one on one.

The mentality of the Qunari makes them a foe to any and everything, the belief they must save the heathens from themselves and give them the Qun. The Quanari and Qun are the Thedas version of our world's Radical Islam in my opinion.
