I was actually fortunate enough to beat the entire game with quite a few side quests while only freezing once.(Played maybe 6-9 hours straight at a time.) 

Afterwards I decided to make a new character. Everything was going fine until I my game froze on an autosave cutscene.  I was impatient at the time and just turned off my ps3 after 5 minutes.  I was scared of corruption, so I deleted the latest autosave and continued playing from a different save.  However, now my game freezes at an exact cut scene preventing me from progressing in the game.  Is the whole character data corrupted, or has the entire game data been corrupted now?

Any sugestions on what I should do?
