I can't find a skin tone I like, so I've given up on playing the game for now

So ya, I can't find a skin tone I like. I don't want a super pale character, but I don't want a dark tanned character either. I have restarted after getting to the end of the Dwarf Noble Origin like 5 times by now...and have restarted many more times where I didn't get that far. I have had this game for over a week now, but have basically gotten nowhere because I kept on remaking my character. This honestly is a problem for me, not having my character look the way I want him to. I didn't play around with that much in the character creator I guess...but the skin tone deffinitly stands out. I honestly am tired of restarting, but can't find a skin tone I like.

Suggestions? :(

NOTE: Some people don't seem to get what I mean. I'm not saying I quit the
game for good or anything like that. I am just saying basically I have
quit playing until I figure out what skin tone and skin complexion to
use.

I have found a skin tone I like in the character creator, but it looks really white in the actual game.

Find a tone you like in the CC, then pick the tone above it. Everything in the game is much brighter.

The tone above the one I want is the asian looking one. In game...it just doesn't look the way I want it to.

I've given up on playing Dragon Age: Origins for now, because I can't find a skin tone I like.

Damn, you are missing out, you should make something that cuts heads off and enjoy yourself.

What does that post mean? Besides the missing out on the game part.

I wonder if any mods will come out that include more skin tone options? Are there usually mods for something like that?

he means make a badass fighter that stabs faces and eats babies, and enjoy the carnage and bloodshed.

I don't like that skin tone lol. I like the one that I got rid of because it seemed too white more than the current profile picture I have.

I know what you mean.

If you don't mind your Avatar looking extremely sunburned, try the skin tone above the yellowish one, its fairly tan, but not super pale, it just comes up in the CC and on your Avatar as SUPAR DARK, yet in actuality is really decent.

I think I saw that one. I don't really want a tan guy. I want a white looking guy, but I don't want a really pale looking guy. I like the skin tone that is to the left of the yellowish one. I like how it looks in the character creator that is...in game I think it looks pretty white.

I was just going to suggest that.

If you leave the complexion slider all the way to the left, you end up really baby-faced (it looks from the OP's portrait that he's using the leftmost complexion).

I suspect sliding if 1/3 to 1/2 of the way over from the left would serve you well.

I picked the one after the yellowish one, looks really tanned in the CC but comes out with a healthy skin tone. Seems like a silly reason to quit on a game you paid for but it's your money.

Yes, it seems really silly to me as well, but I guess you are really serious about your role-playing. :)

This is in fact the opposite to role-playing, sorry. This is in fact "I don't want to role-play any other character other that exactly the one I want to have". Hell, I have this guy, Asian chick, big black brute, and dwarf psycho.

Things like that could happen in all RPGs, a few years ago the concept of customizing your character to such degree was completely foreign. I understand you started playing games only when you could create the characters you want? Then I pity you, stop being so emo about it and play the game.

Yea initially I was thinking that it was the opposite of role-playing, but then I thought that perhaps this guy has a certain Dwarven character in mind, he wants to role play as.
