Can't Download DLC

I had to create a new account, reload both games. I lost all my DLC, and in-game stuff. The in-game stuff had the item's codes redeemed back in 2009. Heavens! Can't enter it twice! Piracy!!
It's tied to your EMAIL and not the Character Folder??
Brilliant.
I spent 5 hours today with support, and they said they had to 'escalate' the issue to their superiors. Thier superiors??
Anyway, they kept giving me codes for stuff. I entered them here, in my new account, it said successful, but only 3 out of about 10 items synced.
Any ideas? Right now all I can do is wait and see if these mythical figures contact me.
Thanx.

... you can download and install it manually. DAO's DLC downloader in-game is notoriously finicky, probably compounded by the fact that DA2 was released today in Europe. There's a good guide to manually installing content on the Dragon Age Wiki...

... it includes links to all the DLC. Note that for some, you'll have to download and install the associated "offer" file. If you do this, make sure you reboot before and after installing. That *should* clear out the updater program and give the game a chance to realize content is installed. If you have further issues with the DLC after that, consider consulting the solutions round-up linked below in my sig.

Worked fine until I uninstalled and then re-installed.
Nope...not in entitlements. Support said it should be there (3 were). There are some things in my addins folder though that don't appear in the entitlements page. This all isn't because I haven't created a character yet, or started a game?

It seems I can save the content manualy as dazips by following your second link. But the fact that the 'linked' way doesn't work- will that cause gameplay issues (like there normally aren't any

If the DLC is not listed in the entitlements, then downloading them manually will install the files but they won't be authorized. I am afraid the operative word is "if".

Not sure I understand what you mean here. DAZIP files need tro be installed using the DAZIP installer that's located , IIRC, in the bin_ship subfolder.

Brilliant stuff! Thanks to you I don't have to worry about bothering some support person that will probably take 5 hours sorting it outRaenImrahl wrote...
