wouldn't this topic make more sense as a poll?
Which is better: Dragon Age: Origins or Dragon Age 2?

All I can say is that the events of Origins and Awakenings were both done, dusted and put to bed within two years. Thats with the official timeline. How much of those two years they took I don't know. How close to the end of those two years the finale of Awakenings happened, I don't know.
Oh, hold on there. You're using the 'official timeline'? Since we're debating whether or not the 'official timeline' actually makes sense, why are you basing your argument on what the official timeline states? Isn't the official timeline the whole point of the debate in the first place? I mean, based on what is mentioned, by the middle of campaign over a year has passed (Wynne), and whenever Origins finishes, Awakening takes place several months later (melo).... so the whole two year figure needs elements of the campaign to take place in some pretty *outrageous* time frames, even if we're talking near the end of two years.
Even if the end of origins took place weeks after Wynne made that statement, that still puts the start of Awakening around 1 and a half years after the start of Origins... so to even fit it within 2 years is a stretch.
Or, to put it simply, the official timeline really needs the player to place his brain on the shelf to take it seriously. Which I believe was the original point of the debate.
And since you can't actually make any objective argument as to why Anders could not do those things post Awakenings within such a time frame, that's a non argument too.
*sigh* It is objective. You're just going into denial over half of it. I mean, let's be honest here, what part of the summary I've mentioned above is actually subjective, hmmm?
