This bug can occur in battle, or just when I'm walking around. It seems that all party members can be affected, though I haven't had more than one affected by it at a time, I think.

What happens is that, the character's portrait is greyed over, and when I've selected the character in battle, I can click on Talents and try to use them but nothing happens. As in, if I click fireball, I can move the cursor around and see the radius, but if I click to use it, it's as if I hadn't clicked at all; the radius is still there, and no fireball is thrown. 

If it happens outside of battle, the portrait is greyed over as well (I assume it's the same thing, since the graying thing happens in both cases) and I cannot talk to people or open doors or chests. The mouse cursor doesn't change to indicate that such a thing would be possible when moved over a door, for instance. 

The issue resolves itself if I select and another character and then go back to the first character, so it's not game ruining ... but it's somewhat annoying.

sorry for english, but I often have same problem. Sometimes problem resolve itself, sometimes helps game restarting. I hope new patch helps )

I had this problem too, but I read the solution a day or so ago, it turns out the problem is caused by the little portraits on the left hand side of the screen. Sometimes they remain highlighted, and you cant target or anything. The solution is simple, just run the mouse back over the portrait to unhighlight it, and then boom, you can target again and everything, no problems! It definitely makes the game a lot more fun when you know that trick .

Yeah, I gathered it was something like that ... as I said, nothing awful, just gets annoying. Thanks for the tip though, seems faster than selecting a new character.
