...that DA2 was a rushed disaster, lets get on talking about DA3.

What do you guys expect? I, for one, am quite gald that this DA2 fiasco happened. If nothing else it will teach EA (and Bioware) that we're not just consumer drones that will eat up any trash they throw at us. What does this mean? Well, I assume that they will go back to the drawing boards for DA3.

So hopefully we'll get a lot more areas (as oppose to ****ty attempts at making day/night act as a different location trigger). Personally, the main thing I want see back is the old 'scroll' type menu screen and the ability to change the clothing of companions.

Hopfully they will unlearn everything they learned from DA2 and pick up were Origins left off from a design perspective. Also hopefully we will be seeing an Origins 2 instead of a Dragon Age 3.

Most do not agree. Most see that DA2 is better and more advanced than DA. You are in the minority by a long shot.

Hate to break it to you sweethart, but there has been no 'fiasco' and ther certainly is no consensus that it is a disaster. This fourm is prety evenly split for/aginst DA2 and forums represent the hardest part of the fanbase to please, not to mention only being a tiny sliver of the total consumers.

Hopefully. The only thing that scares me is that they might end up doing the same with ME3.

Another thing I miss from Origins is the variety of dialogue. Although I like the fact that Hawke was voiced, I hated the fact that we were mostly limited to Good, Funny, Evil. How about the same dialogue options as Origins minus the forced alignment? That would be great.

So I take it you just got on these forums/the internet. Dude, pretty much 90% of user input is negative. Check out all the major review sites.

Let's wait until more than a few days have passed before deciding what "most of us agree" about, hmm?

A smart person would realise that the only real problem with this game is reused assets.

Unless changes are made across the board...quality no longer takes a backseat to greed, I won't be purchasing DA 3. For me, as of right now, the DA franchise is dead.

Not only the users but even the proffesional reviewers rated DA:O higher.

I think that DA2 is better than the first one, and that it wasnt rushed or a failure.

lol no, but I suppose trying to talk sense to a white knighting BioDrone is pointless.

Tbh Dragon Age is over in my opinion. It's been going downhill since the start.

Origins = :D
DLC = :)
Awakening = :-/
DA2 = :-(

I won't buy another. I just hope the people who ruined it aren't allowed near Mass Effect.

Well said. How many times do we have to agree to disagree, or say that each gamer has thier own opinion, that some people love it and some people hate it?  The OP in no way represents my opinion.

I don't know what crack pipe you guys are smoking but DA2 is nowhere near as good as DA1.

DA2 will sell well because it rides on the success of DAO. The EA executobots will deem it as a success and receive a fat bonus this year.

Subsequent DLCs and DA3 on the other hand...

The forums show neither a majority nor an agreement over anything.

Hey guys, lets keep the DA2 hate in the dozen other topics dedicated to it. Here, I would much appreciate it if we focused on improvements that can be made for DA3.

Tbh Dragon Age is over in my opinion. It's been going downhill since the start.

Origins = :D
DLC = :)
Awakening = :-/
DA2 = :-(

I couldn't help but laugh. Although if I had to correct it, the last one would be :-C instead of :-(

I do not agree. I played DA:O six times and I think DA2 is better, but maybe it is because I am a console gamer.

The unstated assumption is Bioware made the changes to push more units, to be more popular, to make more money. Yet somehow the result of that is most players now hate it? Or is it that the classic PC gamer pool is small but fanatic, and the real anger is that one of the few properties that appeared to cater to them has now started to abandon them? In other words, good or bad makes no difference at all - a niche minority was "betrayed" and that is unforgiv

Are you speaking combat wise, or plot/features/gfx/locations?
