I've ran through the final parts of Act II twice and I'm not recieving the Robes of the Overseer. Has anyone had this same problem and if not where are they obtained?

I got them from completing Merrill's personal quest in Act III.

if you're not getting something till ACT 3 who cares at that point the game is over or will be soon. Rather go for gear I'm going to get to use for a while.

I got the gloves of the champion upon completing Act 2 but no robes.

I've only found them once in act 3 in Merril's demon quest.

I went back to the same area last night to see if I could loot the graves that I think I found it at, but they weren't active yet.

You get them in Act 3...during the sundermount quest there for Merrill at the grave. This is information is taken from the strategy guide.

You can complete your campion armor early in Act 3 if you follow this order:

Gloves: you get them after finishing Act 2.
Armor: Defeat the High Dragon. Quest: Mine Massacre
Boots: Automatically after talking to Huon in the main story quest "On The Loose".
Helm: Quest: "Best Served Cold". From Grace.

I got the robes of the overseer during merrils quest a new path, during act three. THough there are no bonuses shown. I bought the robes of unclean cleaness from the Black emporimum for 140gold: 2all attributes, 24%+ all damage and 24%+ healing by character.

I unfortunately found the overseer robes in act 3 just before i got the champion robes, so I use the overseer robes only very briefly and had already sold other parts of it. What's the bonus on the overseer set?

For clarity's sake, all 3 classes' act 2 chest piece is found only in Act 3.

Guardian of Ensalin (rogue chest) drops in act 2...
And I had it drop for me... as a mage.

Just for clarification, you do not need to wait for Merril's quest to grab the armor. At the start of Act 3, go straight to Sundermount and walk up the mountain to the graves. One of them will have the armor and you can immediately complete the set. Just be prepared for a big fight.

To be honest, I dislike how they made it so difficult to complete sets. Practically every set I've gone for cannot be completed in a single act which means they are shortly made obsolete.

You can find them in the graveyard in Sundermont from Act 2.

I didnt recognize them as graves as i was looking for the low to the ground types ive seen before. The sparkly rock structures should have given it away. Graveyard in front of the amulet alter from act 1.

I find it a little funny how the rouge & warrior counterpart armor pieces can "all" be found in act 2, and this one ya gotta wait til act 3.

Sorry for the bumping. But there any mods that could give you this item in Act 2? Im sick of the pirate and circle robes!.

Considering DA2 lacks a toolset, I highly doubt that there would be a mod for such an obscure thing. Still, the simplified equipmen and the lack of variety on the armor models does bug me a bit, especially when you compare it to the variety found in DA:O.

Can't wait til DA3
