Ok this is driving me insane...

Does asking Merrill to move in kill the Isabela romance or no? (Because that's what the official guide apparently says) I got to act 3 and did Isabela's quest and the questioning motives... and I can't really tell If I'm still in a romance with her...

But I'm going to assume it didn't kill the romance because after I asked Merrill to move in with her I did Aveline's quest and she asked if Isabela and I cared about eachothers lives....

Gamlen even asked me what it was like to be with two women though...

Dear maker I am so confused...

Greedy much, messaire?

Pick one. Gives you an excuse to replay!

I don't need an excuse to replay; I either want to or not.

It's not so much greed as personal preference.

I believe when he talks about always wondering what two women together would be like, he's referring to the PC and Isabela.

Asking Merrill to move in with you does end the Isabela romance... in case anyone is interested... you don't get the romance dialog you would normally get after the Castillion Act III quest.

So you don't really get "both" as a romance... more like bang one after the other...

(I learned the hard way...:?)

I think you can, but in the end(spoiler?) ---snip--

That's just my guess.

Wasn't the point of this thread to be spoiler-free unlike the other one? Please edit your post.

I had romanced Isabella early on, and then started romancing Merril whenever the opportunity arose. I even had Merril move in with me. When I went to Hangman's to talk to Isabella at some point, I had a cutscene where Isabella asked if I was interested in Merril. Staying within my roguish character, I replied of course not, to which she said that was a good thing since she'd have to cut something very dear to me off. I ended the game with Merril somewhat living in my house and the epilogue claiming that I had left with Isabella.

Did you tell Isabell that you would Go with her on the ship when she left... I'm thinking thats was the trigger.

Hmm I'm having a similar problem as Brigg has. I don't exactly remember telling Isabela that I'd go with her on the ship when she left. Basically, after Merrill moved in and I romanced her all the way, I didn't get much chance to continue romancing Isabella after act 2/3. That's why its weird for me that the epilogue claimed that all my companions left me for their own reasons, except for Isabella, when I clearly wasn't able to continue Isabella's romance after act 2/3, after starting and completing Merrill's romance from that point on.
