I missed out on my opportunity to obtain Ambrosia during my first playthrough, so I was wondering if anybody has successfully made any of these potions yet.
Do they actually age you? Is there a max level you can achieve by drinking a bunch of these?

i just bought one and the turned red then after drinking it i went back and the recipe is gone so im assuming theres only 1 in the game

I have got it and one Elixir ups the whole team 1 level. I have never tried to drink bunch of these yet.

From what I've heard in another thread, supposedly it is during Isabella's friend quest. Apparently you can find the Ambrosia during that event, so you have to make nice with Isabella if you want it, and not ****** her off and make her leave the rest of the game, like I did!

Are you positive? I am very thorough searching rooms, and Merrill's quest, especially with all the treasure and such there, I was extremely thorough in that room, and did not find any there. And there are other forums where individuals say thoroughly that it is Isabella's quest, and it is located at Castillon's Landing (Isabelle's Companion Quest).
I wonder if it can change locations or somesuch?
EDIT: I think you're talking about Felandaris, the poison/bomb final ingredient. That IS located in Pride's End for Merril's quest.

I didn't even realize there was such a potion or an ingrediant, lol. Probably because Isabella ran out on me on my first playthrough.. even though we were freinds and I told her she could have the book.. wtf? Whatever, I didn't use her much that time anyways. lol

You can only ever make 1 potion of heroism, for 1 level so it's not amazing but I guess it's kind of nice.
