I'm probably missing other important decisions, but those were the
ones that came up the most. I couldn't find another thread on this
topic, so I'm posting this one. Feel free to fill out as appropriate.

Describe your Hawke

Favorite Character

Least Favorite Character

Carver/Bethany - Did they join the Wardens or Circle/Templar?

Who did you Rival/Friendship Romance?

Favorite Quest:

Least Favorite Quest:

Before the End, were you Pro-Mage, Pro-Templar, or Mediator?

Did you sacrifice Isabela?

Did you sale Fenris?

Did you choose to fight the Arashok?

Did you support Merrill in her quest?

Favorite Scene:

Most surprising scene:

After Anders destroyed the chantry, did you choose Templars or Mages?

Did you sacrifice Anders?

What characters did you lose?

If you could go back and change one thing, what would you do?

:::::::::::::: Example :::::::::::::::::

Describe your Hawke
Andraste Hawke, Female Mage. Selfish & incredibly snarky/sarcastic, who typically sided with the Templars. Worked well in an RPG way, since Meredith and Cullen always kept a "blind eye" on her apostate status since she helped wipe out apostates and abominations in order to maintain her freedom and status in Kirkwall. She's very much an anti-hero. A villain in the game.

Favorite Character
Tie between Fenris, Isabela, and Varric. Team snark!

Least Favorite Character
Meredith can burn for being an evil, genocidal hypocritical freak.

Carver/Bethany - Did they join the Wardens or Circle/Templar?
Carver joined the Templars. Kept Andraste more out of the Circle's eye. I like to think he was protecting her.

Who did you Rival/Friendship Romance?
Rival Romanced Anders. He's handy for picking out abominations and apostates. Abused it to no end. Also kept an eye on him in case he went bat crazy. Grew to really like the guy however. Especially his line about how even if Hawke was the only person whose mind he could change, he felt he did something right. That was beautiful.

Favorite Quest:
Diving back into the Fade for the Dreamer quest. Merrill's sidequest over the mirror also had such a profound twist. I was so heartbroken for the Keeper, and had a new disdain for that little Dalish elf despite her ignorance.

Least Favorite Quest:
I really didn't care for any of the Qunari quests, with exception of the Tal'Vashoth mage. That one was profoundly sad.

Before the End, were you Pro-Mage, Pro-Templar, or Mediator?
Pro-Templar

Did you sacrifice Isabela?
Little tart ran away before I could!!

Did you sale Fenris?
We were best buddies forever, so no. We were just trying to survive. We clicked.

Did you choose to fight the Arashok?
Yes. Out of cultural respect.

Did you support Merrill in her quest?
Totally. I was super curious what was up with the mirror. Ended up killing her tribe for it. I'm a bad person. Figure it was one of Hawke's "I'm a mage, and yes can be tempted" days.

Favorite Scene:
The keeper revealing that she had bound the demon inside of her in order to protect Merrill. You begin to realize the only reason the Dalish stayed at that site so long was so that the Keeper would protect Merrill and all of Kirkwall from the Demon. It was heartbreaking and sad.

Also - Seeing the Grey Wardens during the Qunari attack, and their gentle "We cannot get involved" schtick with the Grey Warden theme playing in the background. It was weird, but I had goosebumps. The grey wardens really are beautiful, true neutral characters. It was mystical.

Most surprising scene:
Tie between Anders blowing up the damn chantry and finding what the Lily Killer did to Leandra Hawke. I was like "No... Seriously Bioware....NOOOO."

After Anders destroyed the chantry, did you choose Templars or Mages?
Pro-Mage. Huge 180 degree turn. I realized how much of a nut job Meredith was, and realistically the Mages (including myself) wouldn't stand a chance.

Did you sacrifice Anders?
No. Sacrificing him would have made him a martyr, and the last thing we need is another Andraste.

What characters did you lose?
Carver (inevitable), Isabela, Sebastian.

If you could go back and change one thing, what would you do?
Get Isabela's friendship up, so she doesn't LEAVE ME IN THE COLD TO KILL OFF ANGRY QUNARI. Jesus Pirate lady....

Describe your Hawke
Miriam Hawke. Female Rogue who is a comical peacemaker, she doesn't want to fight unless she has too...but when she does maker be scared! She is fiercely loyal to her friends and very dangerous to her enemies.

Favorite Character
Isabella, Avelina, and Varric; they are comical geniuses

Least Favorite Character
Anders...and Anders...only cuz that bastard did what he did.

Carver/Bethany - Did they join the Wardens or Circle/Templar?
Bethany joined the circle...I didn't even know you could get carver to live...gotta go back and play again!

Who did you Rival/Friendship Romance?
At first Isabella because she hit on Hawke first...then Anders and stayed together for awhile but sadly broke it off in Act III

Favorite Quest:
Hmm...I would have to say the first time you meet Isabella with the dueling quest where it leads to the fight in the Chantry...so many comical things said there.

Least Favorite Quest:
Merrills character quest...I didn't want the Keeper to die :-(

Before the End, were you Pro-Mage, Pro-Templar, or Mediator?
I was Mediator, well trying to be

Did you sacrifice Isabela?
Nope, I love her too much

Did you sale Fenris?
No

Did you choose to fight the Arashok?
Not alone, I tried and he uhh...well to put it like isabella: "Don't you just love having your ass in the air turning over every which way and doing things you never thought you would do?" He did that...but he forced me too.

Did you support Merrill in her quest?
Yes and no, it was a tough decision but I eventually sided with her because she needed to learn a lesson...sadly she didn't she did get stabbed though so hey it's all good.

Favorite Scene:
Zevran and Isabella: "Don't you think I'm handsome?" "What, I've had better." Hawke: "Isabella! About Zevran!" Isabella: "You're just leaving?" "What about sex?"

Most surprising scene:
Seeing Hawke's mom become that .....thing. It made me sad....

After Anders destroyed the chantry, did you choose Templars or Mages?
Mages, because I couldn't come to kill my sister....

Did you sacrifice Anders?
I actually asked the opinions of my party and they said to let him live so he can run and suffer more then now

What characters did you lose?
At first Fenris, but I later convinced him to come back...so I kept them all actually

If you could go back and change one thing, what would you do?
...asking if isabella wanted a relationship...Anders is too whiny most of the time

Describe your Hawke
Default, male Hawke. Mage, and totally devoted to the plight of his kind.

Favorite Character
Varric. And Anders, even though I still think he could have been a new character.

Least Favorite Character
Merrill. Even with her heart in the right place, she seemed fanatical to me.

Carver/Bethany - Did they join the Wardens or Circle/Templar?
Carver became a Templar.

Who did you Rival/Friendship Romance?
Hawke was totally enamored with Anders.

Favorite Quest:
Getting rid of Castillon for Isabela was fun. Also, hooking up Aveline with Donnic had the funniest moments in the game.

Least Favorite Quest:
Anything involving the Wounded Coast.

Before the End, were you Pro-Mage, Pro-Templar, or Mediator?
Pro-Mage.

Did you sacrifice Isabela?
In my first playthrough, she left. In the second she stayed with me and I did the same for her.

Did you sale Fenris?
No.

Did you choose to fight the Arashok?
Yep.

Did you support Merrill in her quest?
Yes.

Favorite Scene:
Anders kissing Hawke that first time in his clinic. Hawke waiting outside Aveline's office while she and Donnic had their...moment. Carver saying he wouldn't fight his brother. Hawke pretending to betray Isabela to lure Castillon.

Most surprising scene:
Orsino using blood magic. Anders destruction of the Chantry.

After Anders destroyed the chantry, did you choose Templars or Mages?
Mages.

Did you sacrifice Anders?
Hawke couldn't have possibly done that.

What characters did you lose?
None. I didn't recruit Sebastian. Didn't much care for him.

If you could go back and change one thing, what would you do?
I wish I could have found Nathaniel.

Describe your Hawke:
Gabriel Hawke, Male Mage, aggressive and rude most of the time, but willing to do anything to help mages or oppose templars. Opposed to blood magic though, as it only makes people hate and revile mages even more. Kind of odd then, that throughout the entire game everyone thought he was supporting Meredith, but whatever...

Favourite Character
Merril and Isabela for the humour, Anders as an objective character. If you get what I mean.

Least Favourite Character
Sebastian and Meredith. Great characters, but hated both personally.

Carver/Bethany - Did they join the Wardens or Circle/Templar?
Carver joined the templars

Who did you Rival/Friendship Romance?
I friendship romanced Anders. It was nice, two apostates against the world and whatnot. It felt a little hollow as most of the connection seemingly happened in the time skips, but whatever.

Favourite Quest:
I also really liked the Saarebas quest. The ending almost made me shed a tear.

Least Favourite Quest:
Can’t think of one

Before the End, were you Pro-Mage, Pro-Templar, or Mediator?
Intensely pro-mage

Did you sacrifice Isabela?
I let her keep the book, she ran off with it and I never saw her again.

Did you sale Fenris?
No...to be honest, I completely forgot Fenris was even in the game until I murdered him at the end. Don’t really know how that happened.

Did you choose to fight the Arashok?
Yes. He tried to kill me earlier. I had to.

Did you support Merrill in her quest?
I shouldn’t have, being opposed to blood magic, but I found I couldn’t say no to her. It felt like kicking a puppy or something...

Favourite Scene:

Most surprising scene:
Definitely Anders blowing up the chantry. I sat, jaw dropped, for a few minutes just staring at the screen.

After Anders destroyed the chantry, did you choose Templars or Mages?
Mages, as always.

Did you sacrifice Anders?
Maker, no. While Gabriel didn’t agree with Anders’ methods, he certainly couldn’t kill him.

What characters did you lose?
Carver to the templars, Isabela in act II, Fenris and Sebastian at the end. And the game wouldn’t even let me kill Sebastian for threatening Anders. How sad.

If you could go back and change one thing, what would you do?
Finish all the side quests in the final act. I hadn’t realised that simply entering the gallows to hand in a side quest would trigger the final battle thing...But after it did trigger I got way to invested in what was going on to reload a previous save so I missed most of the final act.

Describe your Hawke

Garrette Hawke.  2 handed sword weilding Warrior.  Diplomate, nice guy, always seemed to have a bloody nose and a bear that needed a trim.  So much so I spent whole dialogs looking at it wishing I could just get a pair of scissors and drop the stupid thing.

Favorite Character

Merril.  No doubt, no worry, Merril was the best.  Even if I didn't romance her she was really a pleasure.  Just the right amount of nuts, sweet, and she was probably the only character I saw who was a real friend to Isabella constantly.  Which speaks volumes on how nice she'd have to be.

Least Favorite Character

Fenris.  Complete idiot.  I didn't like his attitude, or his haughty stares, not even his dialog was engaging.  It was like a lyrium tattooed Edward Cullen.  And that is a high insult around these parts.

Carver/Bethany - Did they join the Wardens or Circle/Templar?

Bethany was a Circle Mage.  She did become a Warden, but I reset and left her home.  Of the two options?  I'd rather her be a mage with the chance of escaping again later than die slowly and never have a family.  I actually liked her.  Carver from my mage beginnings... well let's just say I know who Lothering's village idiot was.

Who did you Rival/Friendship Romance?

Friendship Isabella.  I had some issue with it since she honestly mentioned being a self-made bed-bouncer, but in the end?  She was the non-glitchy evil.  And honestly the only person who was more desireable was my character's sister.  She was normal.  "But... she's yer sister, dude!"

Favorite Quest:

A Murder of Crowes.  Hands down.  Even if Zevran got the Na'vi/Fish/Doorjam treatment the same as the rest of the elves, he's still Zevran.  He did look like he was a half melted ball of wax, though.  Which made me sad, but Isabella complaining about no sex when I told her no actually made me laugh.  Even if she'd fallen in love with me by that point.

Least Favorite Quest:

Ummm... everything from the start of Act 3 was pretty weak.  If this game had ended at the end of Act 2 with more fill-in in the middle it would have been great.  Act three just wrecked everything I did, set it on fire and took a wizz on the ashes.

Before the End, were you Pro-Mage, Pro-Templar, or Mediator?

Pro-Mage, but I wanted to get that end peacefully whenever possible.

Did you sacrifice Isabela?

Sorta.  She fell in love with me.  But she stayed with me the whole game.

Did you sale Fenris?

Nope.  Didn't even use him enough for the option to happen.

Did you choose to fight the Arashok?

Dang right.  For all the flaws of this game I got a rule about companion characters.  If they run with you then you stick up for them.  So I summoned my warhound and pillar humped between poultice cooldowns.

Did you support Merrill in her quest?

Yes.  Which makes me sad there is no way to make things better.  One more failing of the game, if you ask me.

Favorite Scene:

Varric: "Is there anyone in Ferelden you haven't slept with?"

Nuff said, really.

Most surprising scene:

The aburpt ending to the game.  Even the chantry's explosion wasn't nearly that as shocking as how robbing that scene was in terms of a narrative.

After Anders destroyed the chantry, did you choose Templars or Mages?

Mage.  My sister was one and if they wouldn't let me kill Templars to keep her out of the Circle then I got 5 years of repression to work out.  Not to mention I actually sorta like Frenchie the "I don't want to die a virgin" mage.

Did you sacrifice Anders?

In a realm where I really played as my character would have?  I would have slit his throat before the dust settled.  But he was the only member who had a heal spell.  So... if I wanted to succeed in beating the game he was too essential.  So I had to let him live and take him with me.

What characters did you lose?

Just sebastian.  And But only because I let Anders live.  Even Fenris came back to me when I mentioned he would be killing slaves.

If you could go back and change one thing, what would you do?

There's no point.  None of your choices have an affect that make you feel like you changed the world.  For all your bluster and talk, or your intentions, you're really just along for the ride in this story.  It's not even 1/10th as engaging as Origins.  Which makes me a sad panda.

Describe your Hawke: Cordelia Hawke the sarcastic charming warrior. Always willing to flirt and trade wry comments with Isabela. Despite leaning towards females she too admired Varric's chest hair and agrees with Isabela that he is a paragon of manliness.

Favorite Character(s): Isabel, Bethany, Aveline, and of course Varric

Least Favorite Character: Anders and Fenris

Carver/Bethany - Did they join the Wardens or Circle/Templar? Bethany joined the circle (no play I do will she die if I can help it).

Who did you Rival/Friendship Romance? I friended everybody but Fenris. Romance Isabela.

Favorite Quest: Aveline's Quest to get Donnic's attention with Isabela along for the ride.

Least Favorite Quest: Merril's quest where I have to Kill the keeper and the Dalish

Before the End, were you Pro-Mage, Pro-Templar, or Mediator? Pro-Mage but only because my sister is a mage.

Did you sacrifice Isabela? Absolutely not, I will kill a whole herd of Qunari for a hot babe any day.

Did you sale Fenris? Accidently skipped that quest.

Did you choose to fight the Arashok? I fought the Arishok.

Did you support Merrill in her quest? Yes and dang it I still want to see that mirror work.

Favorite Scene(s): Any cutscene during Aveline's love quest with Isabela along. Also the scene where Isabela is saying sweet things to Bianca in the Hanged Man.

Most surprising scene: Anders blowing up the freaking chantry.

After Anders destroyed the chantry, did you choose Templars or Mages? Mages because not all mages are like that. Bethany proves mages can be good and not resort to blood magic in dire consequences.

Did you sacrifice Anders? Hell yes that little ****** is a terrorist. In all my plays he will die.

What characters did you lose? Just Anders because I executed him

If you could go back and change one thing, what would you do?: I didn't question Isabela about the feelings at the bedroom scene so I didn't get the full romance. Also I didn't finish some of the side quests in the third act.

Okay I am adding a question.

If you could change one story element in the game what would it be: Being able to keep Bethany the whole game. She was the only mage I liked.

If you could change one story element in the game what would it be: I really wanted to rule Kirkwall as a Mage setting up a friendly version of Tivinter
