Do yoy think its possible to make the elven presence stronger in Ferelden in DAO. Perhaps create a new nation or make the city elf break free from the humans.
Heh. I wouldn't mind if a player character could help achieve something like that...and help maintain or expand it. (maybe the sequel can have a strategy component? And I don't mean the NWN2 sort that feels 'tacked on'. Something w/ 'shifting borders' would be nice...)

But I would rather like the option to destroy the Templars or bring down the Chantry.

From an interview we know that we can help choosing the Dwarven King. I also remember that we might be able to take side on the conflict on who should become the new Ferelden king.

Elves will one day break free of their human overlords and take their rightful place as supreme leaders of all
No, they will slowly die and become a forgotten insignificant sidenote in the book of history

I wonder if there's already a RL group that fights for equal rights in DA:O (or games in general, more likely). Would be funny.Sabriana wrote...
No way. Elves will survive, and they have to take their rightful place among the nations. Diversity rules. Sometimes I'm so ashamed to be human....
But for this reason I made my Dalish Elf rogue. To spit on humans and make Elves into the most powerful beings of Fereldan.

Yes, humans treat other fictional humanoid races as thrash in fiction. We should be ashamed.

Oh wait, I wasn't allowed to get politics into this forums. Anyway, you get the point, don't you?

No, you are a dirty elf-hater, just like me and all other humans, I shall seek refuge amongst squirrels.

My human noble warrior (first playthrough) isn't an Elf-hater. He's a jerk-hater. And since most of the jerks in this game will be humans (and Darkspawn if you count those in), I'll go hate those.
Justice ftw!

I heard if you duct tape them, they don't explode during rigorous encounters; but I digress....

Not to drag this discussion into politics, but unless the US-Americans killed president Obama and instituted a primae noctis law for white people, I'd say that analogy comes at least 40 years too late. The elves are a separate species, they'd have a much easier time cutting their ties as a whole and founding their own cities, they even have a (small) quasi-separate nation they could expand upon, the Elves DO have options to improve their situation.

I thought that they're stuck between the ghetto's of the human cities and the woods of the Dalish Elves.
Now I don't feel sorry for them anymore, now I can hate them, like I do in other fantasy universes =D

Well, I count the Dalish elves as a small nation, they don't obey the kings laws, they have their territory and their own culture, it's not much but it's a start.

Aren't the Dalish elves constantly traveling around, not just in the Dales I mean, and don't they usually get chased off the land eventually...I suppose they at least have their freedom
