Does anyone know where I can find a non-robe outfit for the mage?

I am not interested in the champion version of the mage outfit.  The one
I would like to find is something similar to the starting Apostate Robe
Hawke was wearing before going to Kirkwall.

Lets see...there are a couple I know of.

Robes of the Notorious Pirate are Renaissancey looking explorer gear this is from a quest in the wounded coast, in a southern section (quest starts when you get there)

Battle Mage Armor--bought from the gallows mage gear merchant in Act three....looks like armor

Champion Armor of course--found throughout the main quest in act three, and on the high dragon.

There is one of the vest/pants things in Act one somewhere...but I dont remember where I found it.

The gear you get from joining the mercenaries in the prologue (pants/vest in a orangy color)

Thank you, Emperor Mars.  It's good to know that they do exist.  I'll keep an eye out for them.

Thank you for posting the armors =) I love the pirate one. For me it's easier to believe that Hawke isn't captured for being a mage when she runs around wearing something that isn't a robe in Act 1 and Act 2. In Act 3 it doesn't matter really, after the arishok-battle everybody know anyways =)

Plus, F!Hawke is so sweet in it, I keep them long after I have new gear found.

The smuggler's outfit if you are a mage also looks like light amor (tunic and trousers) and not a robe as well.

There is a mod that changes all mage robes to outfits. Each robe looks different, but it's basically breeches and a doublet.
