So, in the quest Raiders on the cliff, I talk to the quest giver, go through the dialog, convinced her men to fight with me. She told me to kill the men behind her. I walk back there, they automatically attack me, not sure if there was supposed to be dialog. After I killed them all, the quest giver and teammates who are supposed to be helping me are in the same location. Talking to them resets the dialog, as if I didn't accept the quest. I can go through it again but nothing happens. There is also like, 4npcs standing where the enemies where that don't say anything or are interactable. Nothing to loot, either.

same thing happened to me here. u can loot the boss tho, for a companion armor. but the quest doesn't end. and i didn't notice the viktor guy they were talking about. its annoying...

I completed this quest successfully last night using the same dialog choice (inviting the guards to fight with us). The quest doesn't end until you've killed all the mobs; be sure to walk up & down all three paths (not just the center path) as there are mobs scattered about.

If that doesn't do it I'd assume you're bugged.

I assume you just missed an enemy somewhere. There is a bug that the conversation fires again when you talk to the squad but it shouldnt* affect the completion of the quest.

i have cleared the whole area. including the mabari hounds at the back. the only thing is there are 4 leftover 'raiders' that doesn't move nor respond. the 'viktor' guy they mentioned wasn't there tho, as i didn't see his name, nor loot his body.

seems i have exhausted my choices, i'll just have to attempt a way earlier save.

just wanted to update i solved this issue by using an earlier save b4 i go wounded coast for the 1st time in act 2.

this time all the 4 raider npcs attacked me, and i managed to finish the quest.
