Just got to Act 2 was wondering when I can do so looking at romancing Merril for my first playthrough and what if I do that one night stand with Isabela(picked option with the no feelings) does that lock me out of other romances? I'm worried because I was doing Aveline's quest and she reference my Hawke and Isabella relationship

It won't lock you out. But it might make your ending only register Isabela. I did something similar, and everyone talked about I and Merril, but the darn ending dialogue said I was with Isabela. That annoyed me. I hope they fix that, the ending stuff in DA:O was bugged, too.
