Your big loss!
Nexus made Oblivion and Fallout entirely different games for me. They put the sand in the sandbox!

I would rather this social site
actually be USED, rather than the entire purpose be lost, but Bioware
better get moving on getting it ready, because so far, it's not.
For a bit I hoped it might be cool, but since Ive actually seen the thing and how clunky it is, Ive been praying Nexus would replace it.

Unless they make a Mod database and make it easy to search by categories, and even by the top 100 mods, the Social site is pretty useless in finding mods.
Of all the Mod databases I have seen, Nexus has always had the best software for searching mods.

Except people being paid to create this social site can't even figure out how to do it properly.
More than half the entries i've seen in the Projects database are empty projects of what essentially amounts to mod requests. In fact, probably 75% or more of them are just that.

Too bad the social site in its current state is so damn user-unfriendly and totally useless for hosting mods...ah well, the Nexus is more than up to the task and the important thing is that there is a big hub for mods that everybody acknowledges.
...too bad it couldn't be this site, though.

That alone justifies using the Nexus.

It's not just adult-themed mods. The whole project-section of the social site is clunky and end-user unfriendly.

Yup, the Projects section might be good to see what people are requesting or currently working on if one wants to browse through them and find what they like, but it will be totally worthless to find mods that are downloadable unless one wants to click on every project trying to find completed ones.
Nexus will end up being the best place to find downloadable mods.
Plus, me personally, I couldn't care less about Works in Progress (WIP). So many WIP never go anywhere that it becomes a waste of time even keeping track of them. I am only interested in mods that are currently downloadable, and from there I will keep track of that Mods updates, and even give the auther some feedback and encouragement.

Yes, talented modders deserve encouragement. where would PC gaming be without those gods amongst men.
