"One day the magic will come back. all of it. Everyone will be just like they were. The shadows will part and the skies will open wide. When he rises, everyone will see"

....you know, there's ever only been one character that's been described as rising.

And that's Hawke. Is the dialogue a she if you're playing a female Hawke?

Nope seen the video with a Fem in it, same stuff exactly, so not likely it refers to Hawke at all. Actully the Vid I linked to is a fem Hawke.

Lol still love the end of it "By the Ancestors whats gotten into you son?"  "ENCHANTMENT?"

Also another vid refering the old woman    lol love the long akward stare at the end.

Also when meeting him "Sandal" in the deep roads, that has to rank among the creepist **** i've ever seen

HERROW! *evil smile and blood coverd face*

So it's probably Morrigan's kid with Warden, Alistair, Loghain, or someone else. There had to have been a back-up plan and Flemeth seems to think Morrigan's done what needs to be done (according to her resurrection dialogue, I can't quote it directly off memory).

The Old Lady is Flemeth, it has to be.

Why else would he give a scary speech and make booms?!

proboly thats a hint to the sequel and we will, peraphs see the maker and proboly flemeth is the old lady that sandals talks in the quick cut scene.

i might be wrong but who doesn't thought that just MAYBE flemeth could be andraste ? and if so that could explain most of what morrigan spoke of in the DLC wicth hunt and also what is the archdemon anyway ? in my opinion he can be the maker itself who became corrupted along with the black city wich would a good explanation to all this events (just an idea of course)

What were Dwarves like before the blight? What were humans like before the blight? we know what the elves were like before they were destroyed by the Tevinter. When sandal says everyone will be as they were before, just what is before?

well taking that the chantry is about to collapse and the mages and templars are tearing each other apart evrywhere i guess he means that some 1 will put order back in the house in the sequel and i bet that will mean....

1rst darkspawn will gone and the dwarf will reclaim the deep roads back

2nd the mages will have their freedom once again (maybe not)

3rd the templars will finaly stop being paranoid **** killers and cooperate with the circle of magi ( or proboly clean the house depending on what they planning next)

thats what i belive anyway

"Scary Lady" = Flemeth

"He" = Morrigan's son/Old God baby

Sandal = first (?) dwarven mage

"All the magic will come back into the world... he will rise... etc." = plot for last DA game?

That's my two cents. -ninja rolls out of the scene-

I think its neither the maker nor Hawke nor the warden it could be the first who implemented magic in this world or better said.... blood magic.

The old God Dumat or also known as the Dragon of Silence... he is an Archdemon, but it also could be Thalsian... but I prefer Dumat over Thalsian. So I think also after the first blight, thad Dumat can still arise anew. :)

cheers

man i frogot morrigan's baby so that will be proboly our next character, of course its just a thought but its defnetly something to think about.

and something that just came into my mind was that sandals proboly heard that from flemeth itself during the time she appeared in his room IF flemeth is the scary old lady.

so many questions...

"The shadows will part and the skies will open wide. When he rises, everyone will see."   This could refer to Anders and his big sky shattering beam o death.  I'm pretty sure that thing was seen for miles around kirkwall.

My money's on this, also.   Not sure about the first mage part, maybe just a prophet of sorts from the lyrium he was gnawing on in the Deep Roads.

So does anything else happen after Sandal mentions the old lady, no quest, nothing?

If they make Morrigan's son the next hero in the DA series he'd be a bit over the top. The kid will be no joke a titan.

I don't believe it's the maker, but a hinting to rising of a darkness.

The Chantry and Mages are based loosely on Catholicism/Norse Mythology. I think we are going to see something down the road similar to the end of days.

The "He" Sandal talks about can't necessarily be the God Baby because remember, not everyone did the ritual.

Now to further the theory though along in that playthrough in Origins did that character do the ritual? Does it trigger on playthroughs where the ritual wasn't taken? Also if you don't input a save does it trigger as well?

There is a lot of variables to take into account.

They can easily add a mechanical where Morrigan had a plan B to get ahold of the old god's soul, she just prefered the warden not die for various reasons. The dark ritual has serious enough ramifications that it may become canon.

I think it foretells of the fallen Archdemons resurrection for a world-wide Blight, Orzammar and Kal Sharok are destroyed, the Chantry collapses, and the Grey Wardens die off. Elvhen tribes are annihilated, and Humanity perishes along with the Qunari. only Nugs will survive.
