1. The Combat.

Oh, I know what you're expecting, a giant rant about how combat is too fast paced. No, that's not where I'm going. The combat is idiotic. Ridiculously idiotic. While Origins had a /alright/ combat system, there was really no need to change it. As a matter of fact, it killed the game when you DID change it. I'm alright with speed, but when the only thing involved in combat is just mashing the A button instead of pressing it once and focusing on abilities? That's not a good sign.

2. The Scope.

Dragon Age II is a small game. Between the city, and the reused dungeons, you have about 1% of the size of the original Dragon Age filled in. That is...pathetic, to say the least. And the time Bioware had to make it is no excuse; they were pumping out DLC for Origins like crazy for two years up to the release of II, and this time and design work could've easily been put to better use.

3. The Depth.

There's a difference between impact on the in-game universe, and impact on the player. This game never bothered to make me care, and never really took the time to show me what was so special about its' story. I had no real motivation, the Darkspawn destroyed my home.

Alright? That's what they do. They're evil. It's not like the rest of Ferelden doesn't want them dead. What makes me different?

4. The Inventory.

This was something Mass Effect II did, but Mass Effect II had far more to make up for it. For those who don't know, inventory only applies to yourself, rather than companions. So, while you're traipsing around in steel plate armor, Isabela is wearing rags.

5. Design.

Overall, this game made too many choices that never had to be made. Dwarves now look like corpses, elves now look like aliens. Its' not entirely a bad thing, just one that is unnecessary.

Ban me for this post if you want, but Dragon Age II was a rushed DLC that I paid 60 dollars for. Step up your game, cut the crap, and start working on Mass Effect III instead of short DLC that should've been shipped with the original product.
