Deciding that mining was boring and I didn't want to upgrade anything on my first playthrough, I regret it on the Terminator.

That has got to be one of the f**k it, let's Charge moments I've had..and there have been many such moments :D

Usually trying to look good for some video footage, right?

My worst would be using cain trying to wipe the collectors plataform(I DID managed it to work, but it took me about 50 tries to do so :D)

Not really, for videos I generally play more conservatively (except for a few exceptions), because recording using FRAPS is very CPU/HDD demanding and takes its toll. Not to mention it eats up a lot of hard drive space, so I have no interest in re-recording. In addition, playing in quite unstable 30 FPS is far cry from flawless 60 FPS I am used to in Mass Effect 2, which is another major disadvantage.

My biggest tactical blunder: Thinking I can play my Vanguards like Sinosleep, Kronner, AreleX, and others.

I got a dedicated hd for recording so space is not a big problem, but the unstable fps does make things hard, that's why I have alot of those "ahh blow it...i'm charging it right now!!" moments, but usually they don't end well for me

Don't kill me people, but I think I did not do anything to qualify posting in here about tactical blunders. At least non that weren't accidential like vaulting over cover into fire and stuff.
The probably closest to something appropriate would have been me headshoting an YMIR and instead of running away really fast, me standing directly next to the decapitated YMIR and wondering what that bleeping has to do. And I was fully aware that I should have been running, though the curiosity got the better of me. Other than that, I normally don't blunder.

Other than this one time in Mass Effect ... where I wanted to try out immunity ... the thorough way aka blunting a Thresher Maw with Shotgun on point blank range. It didn't went too well.
Though that was merely an exoeriment and not a tactical beshizzlenizzle in normal gameplay ...

But now it's out, I officially tried to bludgeon a Thresher Maw to death.

Nothing I did but Miranda just thought it would be a good idea to take cover behind explosive canisters and got killed when they exploded. Genetically modified... but they forgot to give her some brains.

There ain't enough genetic applicable material for BOTH her bosum and her brain, ...

+1.  kudos.  good laugh.

anywho, tactical blunders.  lemme think.  hmm, aside from the obvious "using the cain point blank" or "charging the colossus on haestrom as a vanguard," i haven't had too many.  if i have, lord knows none of them stick out too readily.  the one thing i am guilty of doing more times than i can count, even though i know better, is mashing my spacebar to hide behind cover, only to vault over it and get blasted to my death.  at which point, i cuss and scream, and beat myself up because i know better, but i just can't learn.

This entire video.

:(

Probably Mass Effect 1, the first time I did UNC: Luna.

Finished the first base like 'oh, this will be simple'.

Walk into second base to do the same.

Catch rocket in chest.

Weep gently.

LOL!  Yeah, Luna was surprisingly tough.  All it took was one rocket.  I  always tried to draw them down a halfway so I  couldn't be flanked but it didn't always work.  I  saved as often as possible during that mission.

In ME2, the first time I finished off a YMIR heavy mech with a headshot and was standing right next to it.

"What's the beeping noise and flashing light?"

BOOOOOOOM!!!!!!

:D

The quarian rescue mission where I accidentally "pulled" an explosive when I was aiming at a varren.
*wince*
And doing Kasumi's mission first on Insanity as a caster Vanguard. What that day taught me was rhythmn...and insidious, spiteful, retributive patience taking that gunship down.

I ran into a wall. Ya.

Sometimes, I run into smaller walls and I end up sticking to them. So what happens is im taking cover on the wrong side of said wall while a YMIR mech goes to town.

I'm not sure if its' really a tactical blunder, but I had a hard time doing the LotSB fight in the parking lot right after the car chase. I facepalmed when I realized I had forgotten to allocate Liara's skill points. The fight suddenly got a whole lot easier when I could use all of her skills.

I kind of let off a nuke in the SR2 cargo bay...that didn't go too well to say the very least. Not sure what I was thinking there. And of course I've fallen victim to a number of unfortunate Charge blunders on Insanity.
