Soo I used my import with Romance with Leliana , and when she showed up in the DLC quest for Sebastian ( at the Act 3 ) she says '' she didn't see him in many years ''  but Wiki says she should say otherwise...... After coming all this point I don't want to start over on one little mistake but considering this can be an important setup for the next game in the franchise , another bug about romance can be annoying ?

I just want to know if anyone experienced this ? and are there a ''solution'' ?

Well if you romanced Leliana in Origins, it says she only stayed with the warden "for a time"

Unless you're talking about something else, since I haven't bought the DLC yet. =x

well I read the Dragon Age wiki about it . She should say '' he is dear to me '' if you romanced her at the end but she says like she just left him behind with no history '' I didn't see him in years ''

I just want to know if I made a save game mistake , since I want to carry this save of DA2 to next game ( from which I can see the setup at the end ) and a bug like this can ruin whole the romance plot for the Warden... I would hate to see that.

I am suspicious about the Witch Hunt save I guess.

There is more to it than that. Beat the game first and you will see.....

* If you romanced Leliana in Dragon Age: Origins and imported your save she will speak about how the Warden is "dear to her heart", otherwise she will state that she has not seen the Warden in years.*

This is the part I am concerned of. Well I hope the ending will correct this mistake or I am gonna start a new ''bug free '' run when Bioware bringing up bug fixes.

Keep playing, I'm pretty certain you haven't gotten to the part the wiki is talking about.

I had this issue too. From what I've been told, it has something to do with importing a Witch Hunt save.

I'm curious as to what you're referring to. I beat the game on my Leliana romance Origins import and I got the correct dialogue from her in the Exiled Prince side quest ("she is dear to my heart"), but her endgame cameo seems to be the same regardless of whether she was romanced in Origins or not.

Or were you just referring to the fact that she shows up again?

I suspect that it's the latter.

She IS supposed to mention that the Warden is dear to her during Sebastian's quest if you romanced her in DA:O, and that's the only time you ever personally speak with her in the game.  But there's a bug that appears to be tied to either Witch Hunt or Golems (or possibly both - though my personal guess is it's tied to a Witch Hunt that's not version 1.1) that ends up stripping the romance flag out from the saved game file.

As they've said, bug from an imported save file from one of those two it seems. Origins saves only work fine.

Though I'd rather Leli not have been there at all... not only bugged, but so out of character. It's like they just said, "where can we force a cameo for her" and decided that was the best spot, despite the fact that the scenes just do not fit her. I need to see what happens if she didn't survive Origins.

The only cameo that is severely disappointing.

i romanced leliana and imported my save file from dragon age: awakening's end to get every possible story parts added.. in awakening i even had the letter from leliana telling my character how much she misses her and w/e.. and she still says she hasn't seen her in years in dragon age 2..

I'm also pretty sure she told me that she hasn't seen him in years and i didn't get the "he is dear to me" dialogue. granted I don't think it's THAT big of a deal, but are my flags messed up from my origins save? or is it just dragon age 2's way of interpreting them?

I'm not into Act 3 yet, but I do hope that my cameo will be more successful than some people have had, or I'll be sad to hear Leliana saying the wrong thing about my Warden and herself. So far my import has worked wonderfully, everything has been accurate and to the point. Hope it keeps up into Act 3. For what it's worth, I used Witch Hunt 1.1, which I imported from Golems, so I just hope nothing goes wrong.

I'm really hoping my save will import properly. :| I'm still only on act 2 (this was spoiled for me before release much to my dismay but also knowing going into it that there might be bugs frustrates me) so I haven't even caught up to her yet. I imported from Awakenings to Golems to Witch Hunt and WH was version 1.1 so *hopefully* that will make the bug not an issue. I'll be pretty grumpy if it is... So far the game has imported all of my DAO choices correctly, so that's a plus at least.

So does it matter if i just imported my DAO save to Awakening from Epilogue, then to WH and from there to DAII?? the romance flag will be counted or not?

Yeah seriously

Though I am pretty sure I saw one person mention having problems with an Awakening save. God I hope not cause I restarted with that also.

Leliana will say that the warden is dear to her heart if you import your save from Origins, not sure if you do from awakening yet.

I just met up with Leliana using an import from Awakening and still didn't get her proper dialogue.

So I guess it is only an Origins import that works properly in this case.

That's...disappointing....

I just got my Leliana cameo, and she had somehow turned into an icy ****-queen. So, of course I immediately come her to say "Who raped my warden's story? Was it Luke? Because I already saw his grave in Nashkel, so he's got it comin'."

I'm relieved that it was a programmer, not a writer. That victim will be much less-missed.

NONE of my save info was imported. I used an Origins>Awakening>Golems>Witch Hunt, if it matters.

I had the same problem with an Awakening save.

I guess it's not exactly new, though, considering the number of similar import problems people experienced with ME2. It would've been nice if they'd learnt from it and avoided similar problems, though. It is pretty disappointing when you invest that much time into something and it just goes off and does its own thing.
