Same here. I had to kill Anders, my Hawke trusted him yet he betrayed me by killing possibly hundreds of innocent people.DarkSpider88 wrote...
I had to kill Anders for what he did. I sided with mages because my sister shows how a mages can be.
My Hawke was a neutral character who was trying to protect the mages without resorting to all out war.

Whats worst is that Anders saw Templars and Mages working together in "Best served Cold" yet he still choose to blow up the Chantry without a second thought.Lord Orgasmatron wrote...
I killed him ... and I think he deserved it. What he did was stupid and irrational and I just ... he completely confirmed the people's fear that mages are dangerous ... congratulations Anders, you failed at your own task
My Hawke was working with the nobels to try and get rid of Meredith. After all that work what does Anders do? He blows up the Chantry! Yeah Anders I'm sure killing one of the most beloved people in Kirkwall with Magic will really make the Mages look good in the people's eyes.

I'm not surprised a man would take drastic measures to put an end to slavery. The Chantry enslaved mages for almost a thousand years, and Anders' actions allow for every man, woman, and child of the Circle to no longer worry about the templars ruling over them - they don't have to fear getting raped, tortured, given a lobotomy, or killed because of Anders. His actions lead to the end of slavery.
Really? Then he should have blown up the Gallows. Not the Chantry and a bunch of innocent people. That's terrorism, IMO.
