I want to place a stone well that players can interact with. I know there is a stone well model, but I don't see any stone wells in the placeables. I looked in the placeables in the palette window as well as the list that appears when you try to create a new placeable (the two lists are not identical).

Is there any way to take the stone well model and make it a placeable? Seems like there should be.

It should be relatively easy to convert any existing prop model to an (interactive) placeable.

All the placeables start out as (non-interactive) props - but there are separate models - in some cases you will see identical-looking models in the plc (placeable) and prp_ (prop) list, but there are a few differences, regarding shaders and such.

The well is in the model list, but not the placeable list. How do I make it a placeable?

You'll need to create an entry for it in the placeables 2DA. See http://social.biowar.../Placeables.xls for information on the placeables 2DA, and http://social.biowar...t/index.php/2DA for information on editing 2DAs in general.

Thanks!

I am I able to use the prp file as the model name (for example, prp_stnwell_0), or do I have to somehow convert it into a plc file model?

If I have to convert it from prp_ to plc_ how do I do that?
