I have looked about in the forums and have not seen a search bar anywhere. Am I missing it, or is this truly the first web-based forum I have visited that does not have one?

For some reason they removed it last week, just like the 'recent posts' section. I don't like it.

One of the BioWare staff warned people about it, they removed it because it made the place go slow (probably too many using it at the same time).
I guess it's a temporary removal, however, for forum search, people should use Google now. Sure though finding your own recent posts can be a pain, so it's probably better to subscribe to all threads you find interesting or that you posted. At least, until BioWare decides to re-enable the search option. (note, Subscribe button is found on top of a thread, just above the thread name but below forum settings)

Like a car without a steering wheel. Incredibly dumb.

It's never been worth the name. It is really awful. Adding a site: redirector makes Big/Google/Yahoo work inside the forums and does a great job.OneShadyLady wrote...
