Just wondering if anyone has attempted making Hawke the main healer for Nightmare?

    If so, did you go BM or FM, and why or why not?

Also, did you get any specific spells from other trees? Not sure if the glyphs from Creation are better than the Force spells.

For those that are Blood Mage as Spirit Healer, did you just get it for the extra 25 health? or do you actually use Blood mode and drain your other party members to heal yourself? ...The killing hurting your own party and hurting yourself to cast spells seems like it would be a huge liability on Nightmare or do you just pump everything into CON ?

I recently started a mage who is going SH/FM. You're going to pump points into con of course, or the rogues are going to literally one-shot you out of stealth. FM also gives you the fortitude you're going to need not to spend every single fight watching "Interrupted" scroll above your head.

The game, and most of the classes, was clearly designed for aoe-fest. It was not designed for Nightmare and friendly fire AT ALL. I stay away from almost any aoe-related skills on Nightmare.

Also, Anders is a god if you want a healer, so don't feel bad if you can't be as good as him. Just keep reminding yourself he's a little wuss, which is why you're playing the healer and he's slitting his wrists in an emo funk in his run down hovel instead. ;p

The Hawke mage SH tree looks like it is better than Anders' healing tree though? I dunno...when I have Anders' heal on AI, does not seem that great...and the mage SH aura is 2x as Anders' aura?

Do you really need that much in CON though with that ability in SH? and the health regen too? I figured would need lots of WILL and magic just to wear the armor, which is lame, imo...

On a sidenote, Anders may be emo, but he more than makes up for it when Justice comes through...I personally like psycho Anders and want him as my dps I think )
