I'm pretty sure I got every Qunari Sword when I turned it in, but you don't get a dagger. If you don't choose gold, you get exp. About 1,5 level for the amount of swords I turned in.

According to the guide, if you choose the gold from the very start, you'll miss out on the item reward which is class-specific. The item is named Bassrath-Kata for every single type. Definitely going to not be greedy this time on the 3rd playthrough to make sure I get everything. Same with that Forbidden Knowledge chain :x

Oh okay...someone said on here, on another thread for this weapon, that the name of it was T.W.H.

Anyways...so what is the actual name for this dagger in question and is "The Lost Swords" how you get it so that I can stop wondering and move on knowing that I f''ed up.

The Low Blade is a great dagger, better stats then Finesse also..

The Low Blade -
44 Nature Damage (81 Per Sec)
10% Crit Damage
+3% Attack Speed
25% Chance to reduce Attack Speed (Enemy)
25% Chance to reduce movement speed (Enemy)

It's great, looks nothing like Finesse but the starts are better. I just don't remember where I got it.
I've been looking for the Twin dagger for Finesse for awhile as well.

Actually The Low blade isn't better with a detailed comparison since as a Rogue you rely mostly on critical attacks...so having an increase to critical chance is more important than 3 bonuses (attack speed, reduce speed, reduce movement) that can be added through using the Speed, Fatiguing Fog (which indefinitely slows speed AND movement and isn't up to chance) abilites and/or poisons. With a Primeval Lyrium Rune attached to Finesse combined with poison and a couple abilities used at the right time...you have a weapon better than The Low Blade because not only does Finesse do more damage (42 Physical +8 Nature+ any rune damage if you added one), but your chances of a critical without having to back stab/attack from behind are higher, you still get the +10% crit damage like The Low Blade, and depending on what rune (preferably Primeval Lyrium Rune myself) you have attached you could do more damage there.

Poisons, Primeval Lyrium Rune, with the abilities add to the Lowblade as well, plus you can add another rune to the Low Blade since it has 2 slots. If you can add these to Finesse, you can add it to the Low Blade with the extra rune slot.

You completely misunderstood me...why use a blade that's WEAKER just because it has more bonuses that you already have naturally??? 1) You tech only have 1 rune slot if you're trying to make it better than Finesse (which is impossible) since you HAVE to put a Rune of striking just to get the bonus for Crit chance that Finesse already has. 2) Physical damage is better than Nature damage since EVERYONE is effected by Physical damage while some are resistant if not immune to nature damage. Even adding say a Nature Rune to that second slot...STILL weaker (only adds 6 as opposed to the already +8 Finesse has and Finesse, once again, isn't ONLY Nature damage) and there you have it...you already used both slots to add bonuses that are ALREADY on the Finesse while it still has an empty slot. There's a reason why Low Blade is Green and NOT purple...trust me on this one, Finesse is a better dagger. You're also forgetting that most of Low Blades bonuses are CHANCE increases...they won't always work.


Just so you know, I added Primeval Lyrium Rune and Rune of Striking a long time ago to The Low Blade...wasn't better...I know by actual experience with both weapons...not just an opinion.

I haven't found a good replacement for it. I have Finesse and The Low Blade, I use both of those because I have yet to find anything better.

I just found these two daggers...

Carta's Right Hand - 42 Physical (78 Per sec)
+87 Attack
+4% Crit Chance
+10% Crit Damage
5% Stun Chance

and

Blade Of The Many  - 40 Physical
+81 Attack
+4 physical damage across 2m. 

Haven't seen Carta's Left Hand yet.

Kind of Want quest...in Act 3 after or during On the Loose...go to Lowtown at night and you should be attacked by The Followers of She...keep running around looking for them (I fought about 6 groups of I'd say 15 guys) until you get directions to their hideout. You may run out of "hot spots" before the note pops up like I did...if so just pop into The Hanged Man and they when up exit they will start to respawn at all the same places. Once you get the note the quest and arrow appears so it's not hard to miss. Defeat the Desire Demon along with an ass load of her followers and you get that BA dagger.

Seriously. I doubt they would only put 1 in the game, it has to be in there somewhere. It wouldn't make any sense if they didn't have the pair.

Alright, so I just completed the Lost Swords quest on a Rogue without asking for gold. Got a dagger out of it named Bassrath-Kath.

+4% crit change
+9% crit damage
+6% phys damage
+12 damage vs humans
req: 39 dex

Unforunately... it is NOT a matching dagger to Finesse. It does, however, match The Low Blow. So the search continues. ><

There's also a dagger sold in the hidden passage of the Docks at night during act 3 - can't remember the name of it right now, and it isn't the best for damage, but it gives a 15% chance of deathblow. I paired this with The Low Blade since they have matching graphics (and looks are everything ).

I ended up just duplicating Finesse (the joys of the PC version). Much more visually satisfying.

Dang, I was so sure of it too I started my own rogue just to find out.

Well, if the lost swords quest wasn't it, then I'm afraid there really isn't a second pair to Finesse. I'm fairly certain I've bought and found every dagger in the game and the closest one is still Spider's Heart from A3 Gallows. However, that one is green as I mentioned before and is only 37 damage.

By the way, regarding The Low Blow being weaker because it does nature damage and doesn't have crit chance...

The only time I don't have guaranteed crits is if I'm not flanking and using auto-attacks. Predatory is 100% crit while flanking and Explosive Strike, Twin Fangs, and Assassinate are all 100% crit. Crit change really isn't important. Crit damage % and physical damage % are the big ones..

Also, doing nature damage is actually, from what I can tell, a plus the vast majority of the time because it bypasses armor. I just killed Hubris (the boss Pride demon from the scrolls) and my auto-attacks from Low Blow were critting for ~450-500. The auto-attacks from Finesse were critting for ~250-300. Obviously there might be some creatures that have high nature resist or are immune to it even, but you can switch weapons in combat so that's no reason not to take advantage of bypassing armor in every other situation.

Still, if you don't want to deal with resists, putting your best runes in something else might be a good idea.

I have done murder of the crow multiple times now and didn't get the Finess dagger, so how the F*** do one get that dagger ?

I did the quest, helped Zevran, and then once we cleared the Antivan Camp, you talk to him again and he gives it to you.

Nope. he gave me the money and left been doing it like five times with diffrent coversational aproaches, but none, nothing, nah ah I play on Ps3 version, maybe its a bug ?
