i enjoyed game but like some other i have problem with recycled areas but i can take it.
story is better in DA2- my reasons...you dont save the world from ancient gods...reshape world by your whim and everybody is emidietly at your feet and defeat ustopable army in 1year.
in DA2-you start from scratch and first nobody cares about you

Why? Let's say that neither boulders gate nor origins ever existed. DA2 is the first bioware of that style that you have ever played. Are you still as disappointed?
The problem is, is that there will always be zombies who will find something to complain about. I mean, seriously, prime evidence that evolution doesn't exist. You think people would learn that they don't have control over how the game is going to turn out. Yet they continue to launch nukes at the development team. And they're so ungrateful. Bioware gives you an awsome game, yet you throw it down because it isn't the same as the other. If you kept getting the same exact phone every time you get an upgrade, would you be happy? No. Because it's paying more money for what you already have. If bioware made DA2 exactly like origins, we would be paying money for what we already have. I played origins. I loved it. I'm playing DA2. I love it just as much. People need to learn to enjoy games as they play them. Go into the game with a fresh mindset. Forget about Origins. Play DA2 for what it is, a whole new game. Don't compare it to Origins. In fact, don't compare it to anything. If you learn how to do this, I promise you will enjoy it even more.
I dont "throw it down" cause its not like DAO
I throw it down cause its not an RPG in MY OPINION
You might think that bioware gave you an "awesome game" but i think it stinks
Forget about origins, forget about role playing games, just take what they give you , dole out your money for what ever they put out in front of you.
I wont enjoy it more. I want RPG. I dont want Action RPG, shooter RPG, watered down so the people with ADHD can figure it out rpg.
I want the companion armor complexity, I want the attributes that do more then one thing, I want the skills, I want the perks, i want the game where you push a button and instead of awesome happens you have to figure out how to become awesome, YOURSELF.
I wont be a company stooge and take what ever they deem to want to give me this week.
I vote with my money and my words and DA2 is not acceptable.

this thread obviously isn't directed toward you. It's directed towards people who do not have a legitimate complaint, so they play the origins card. You are not playing that card, and this thread isn't directed towards you or people like you.

it wasnt save the world theres a dialog option from the get go that u can ask about; what if we dont want to save fereldon ( aka not the world just the land of fereldon). reply: then eventually the rest of the grey wardens willl come to handle the darkspawn but it will be to late for the people of fereldon. therefore no u are not saving the world 2 bioware is known for games about the journey not the goals etc.

Fair enough. But I'm saying that in order to actually enjoy the game, you just need to forget about that. I'm telling you, you will have like ten times more fun.
I enjoyed the game, but I don't find it enduring. It's not like I can just ignore the glaring flaws. Technical bugs aside. The re-used enviroments was one thing, but the story (which is typically Bioware's strong suit) was very abstract and nonexistent until the last act of the game. These are fairly glaring flaws that continue to temper my enjoyment.
This game had the potential to be great. Bioware shouldn't undermine that potential for the sake of deadlines.

Can I play the StarCraft 2 card? Because I can totally argue how a RTS has more immersion and gameplay than the RPG that is DA2.

Same. If it was just a single letter typo I'd let it go, but it's pretty obvious he never played it and doesn't know what he's talking about.

I haven't seen anything irrational posted ITT, and complaints are directly related to what you were talking about. If you think people are just going to let you walk all over their opinions without expressing them for the thousandth time, well, you need a reality check.

lol, personal problem then. I never experienced those issues.
PERSONAL problem? Have you seen the Tech Support forum lately?
Yes, personal problem. I own it for xbox, and the only glitches and bugs i've encountered is that occasionally, the characters hop around spastically during a cutscene. A friend of mine had the issue with not being able to change the name because he didn't do that first.
If your copy is failing, it's either YOUR copy or YOUR pc. Something that is manufactured will always have bugged up discs every now and then.

does anyone like opinions? I like them when they're the same as mine lol. I respect them if they aren't, unless they are total troll bs. Which I'm used to dealing with so whatever. I was expecting this kind of feedback. Trust me. And I was ready for it. Obviously.

I never said anything about irrational. But there are a lot of people who will automatically hat me because I have a different opinion than them lol.

StarCraft 2 is the better RPG than DA2, no troll, I truly believe this. Care to challenge me?

Lets all get along!
Let me make things so that we can all be nice and glee.
Now let me get state some of my opinions here.
1. Yes, i understand that the word TWO means sequel, and DA2 is not what we call DAO2. Why does DA2 have to stick to the gameplay that was defined in DAO? We all saw this kind've change from ME to ME2, didn't we? We were a little hesitant to "like" this new play style of shootshoot, blamblam, than what was originally set in ME as more of a traditional RPG style.
2. The Dungeons. I agree with Xeno full blast on this. I noticed this on her blog on DA2.
Wow i just lost my though there...
I be back.
