So I finished DA2 earlier this morning. Once I got set on the path for the whole last big battle, my 2h warrior started hitting very slowly in combat. I'd do a mighty blow and it was like a slow motion moment from 300. It was frustrating. I ended up switching to Bethany and letting my Hawke that I played the entire game resort to tactics. He wasn't slowed until I was in control of him and then he would slow down again.

I was pretty annoyed and frustrated with this. But at least Bethany is pretty bad ass.

Act 3 issue (god there so much lol)

-I try siding with the templar for the achivement at the end and bethany came to my aid to kill orsino lol not very logic there.

- Oh and when I side with the mage Orisno bable that Meredith has push him to far, even if no combat has start for me lol. So it's like if Orsino just do Blood magic for no reason.

----For all people with problem with the act 3 high dragon I have test a lot and it seem that in casual mode (on xbox 360) sometime it dont drop the fire gland or any good thing. If you are able to redo it, do it in normal mode and sometime you will need to save just after killing it and reload it right after. to make drop appear.

-------BIOWARE PLEASE 1 WEEK after release and nothing. Don't make fun of us you knew all those bug and you still release the game. But it's ok just give us the damn patch to make this game better. And if by any chance you didn't know this then please kick out all your tester and especialy the lead one lol there really bad.

I had a problem during the fight with the first enchanter Orisano. When the harvester's smaller incarnation first appeared i fought it for a minute and it fell off the map, then my party was just stuck with nothing to do, but a reload did fix it for me.

Good god this chapter was by far the worst bug wise.

- Act1 : Fool's gold quest being given after importing my warden, Nathaniel survived in awakening however I get the other quest.
- Act3:
1. Merril bug concerning mirror, I have a cutscene where she ends up whining about what happens to the keeper, and then I get the quest to go and talk to the keeper, with the mirror dissapearing too,completely ruined it for me.
2. Carver check up quest missing from journal, after a while it just vanished and I was unable to do the quest, even though all I had been doing was side quests and none of the main ones.
3. Wounded Coast quest who needs saving, unable to do it, there is one NPC just stood about but there is no way for me to interact with him at all.

General Bug report:

Tactics failing when using revive as a spirit healer, the party members end up with unlimited health/stamina and they also refuse to follow tactics, either by not enabling sustainables or using cooldowns or heck, even attacking.

The tactical failure when a character is revived isn't just from Spirit Healer. It happens if you use that potion or Anders's ability to raise the dead too. The revived character treats it like combat is over, and automatically regenerates all wounds, but they also don't follow tactics and will frequently break off attacking just to walk back over to Hawke.

However, in my first playthrough, I found that when this happens, you can pause the game, go into Characters, go into the tactics menu for any character and then back out entirely and return to the fight, and they will start fighting like normal again (and losing health like normal).

I had this exact problem as well.  Before I went to talk with her in the alienage she was waiting for me in my estate and I talked to her about going off to the alienage all the time (having previously told her she could move in with me). Then when I went to her home in the alienage I had the same thing you described.

My game is also showing I have the "Who Needs Saving" quest, but I can't actually perform the quest. One other thing, it's pretty minor, but it might as well be fixed, in the codex for Isabela the third act entry simply repeats the two paragraph. This is on a 360.

            Everything was perfect in the game until Act 3, barring the incident with Sebastion's Achievements,  but then Merril's premature dialogue concerning her character specific questline happened. After that it was a bit confusing. The quest "Who need's saving?" would not work. Upon entering Wounded Coast and being confronted with Evet, and promptly dispatching him, I would lgo to the area I 'presumed' was the destination for said quest.  A blonde man would appear at the entrance of the enclosure, but would not respond to any incitation.
            During the fight with the High Dragon in the Bone Pit, Aveline's AI was constantly glitching, her character switching from in combat to out of combat at random points.            
            There was also an infuriating problem with the end game quest. I sided with the mages and was making my way through Kirkwall to get to the Gallows, and when I get there, the textures/skins for First Enchanter Orsino and Knight-Commander Meredith's clothing/bodies was missing. Their forms were still there, but in the 'puddy' form that is pretextured.
            That was not the only texture missing from the scene. The texture/skin of the courtyard, both inside the Templar's area and the fighting area with Meredith, was missing. I could see the missing tiles and such, but there was no stone, merely the white flesh of an unmodified land.

To recap:

- Merril's quest dialogue
- "Who needs saving?" activation
- Aveline's AI
- Textures missing from Meredith and Orsino
- Textures missing from the inner and outer courtyards in the last scene.

!!!!!Possible Game Breaking Glitch!!!!!

I am currently on the quest called Best Served Cold and the game will not allow me to complete the quest!

After the first battle witht the mages and the templars I pick up the note telling me to go to the docks .  When I get to the docks I fight more mages and templars.  When I finish talking with Keran and he tells me where the next meeting is I start looting the bodies.  I noticed that there was no note this time (at least in my game).  When I go to the ruins for the next encounter there is nobody there.  The marker is there and i stand in the area that something shpuld be happening in but nothing happens!  I have tried this many times and the same thing always happens.

Has anyone else had this problem?

Had the same issue with Merril.

Probably been mentioned already, but in the "Finding Nathaniel" quest, Nathaniel says the Architect was allowed to live with an imported save where the Architect was killed.

I've only finished my first playthrough and encountered some bug(-like?) issues... hopefully I will not need to add to this in a further edit... After reading through several topics,  it seems that some issues have been seen by fellow DAII owners, such as...
a) Merril cut scene mix up in act 3
B) Exiled Prince DLC achievements not unlocking
c) Lost in Transition... (travelling from Hawke estate to Black Emporium, fixed with console restart)
d) during final act, the texture of armour and robe for Orsino and Meredith became greyed out (not cinematics for obvious reasons, but for both cutscene and gameplay). Everything was fine during previous acts (both cutscene and regular gameplay)

While I understand these are already under investigation, I was just wondering if anyone has encountered the
following... (or i might have overlooked the relevent topics... if so, i apologise for repeating)

e) after some time running, Main PC would suddenly move with their feet moving in a much smaller stride compared to  regular running, which leads to slowed movements. This stopped when I stopped my character and started moving again, but would somehow return from time to time. This usually happened in Hightown and the Docks for me.
f) When playing a rogue, while equipped with duel daggers if I immediately equip a bow, then try to equip a dagger onto the main hand again, the offhand dagger becomes invisible.
g) The weapons merchant in Lowtown Bazaar became a floating head on one occasion after exiting from the Hanged man.
h) During "On the Loose" the elven mage's wife (Nyssa? forgot the name) stayed on the map with a quest marker on her dead body and unable to interact with it. Quest still complete-able, but weird.
i) Wasn't even aware of a quest involving Nathaniel until i read this post... it wasn't triggered for me neither. I imported a Witch Hunt save with series (Origin>Awakening>Golem>Witch Hunt) and Nathaniel survived.

I know some of these maybe not the most serious of issues... but just wanted to voice concerns and help the devs refine this great game...

I have very a similar glitch in Murder of Crows. After I kill the crows, the first dialogue with Zevran appears what we've already had in the cave. And the quest is marked as uncompleted.:mellow:

In act 3 I had 3 issues. One was the Merrill one, one was the lost girl on wounded coast, and one was the boss fight at the end of the scroll quest. I couldn't use resurrect potions, and aveline wouldn't/couldn't die on the scroll boss fight.....the fight lasted 15 minutes or so.

It also seems as though the Dragon Age Origins cameos don't properly recognize your import features. After reading through several forum posts, Leliana, Zevran and Allistair are supposed to recognize their (if they had one that is) with the warden.

Many do not and while small (since they are cameos) it is disappointing to see the import feature borked so much.

Not sure if these have been mentioned:
- After the main game my storage chest emptied itself
- Carvers hair turned bright white during the final boss
- Leliana said she travelled with the warden but I never met her on the playthrough I imported

I received A Murder of Crows quest even though I imported a save with Zevran dead. Gaider said this is not supposed to happen on the storyline forum

Nope, no word yet.,  This appears to be an almost universal bug but not a peep on if its being dealt with or not.  It's really killed my enthusiasm for the last half of the game.  =(

I don't know if this has been mentioned, but I've had *spoiler* Orsino disappear completely while battling his second form (I read somewhere that he has three forms). I know I didn't defeat him because he had more than half his health in second form when he disappeared. */spoiler* Combat concludes, but the barrier is still blocking the door. Reloading didn't help. I'm gonna try clearing the cache. If that doesn't work, then I have a huge problem because I can't complete the game.

This exact same thing happened to me as well.  I swear, I've got nearly 200 gamerscore points that I can't get to because of bugs in this game.  Probably just gonna stop playing until a patch hits.
