Also, many times all over the game Hawke (doesn't matter which class) will stop recognizing that there are enemies about, cease attacking, and instead just uselessly twirl her weapons while taking tons of damage. It worked a couple of times to switch to another companion then switch back, but not always. Frustratingly, it's usually in "boss" type battles where inaction leads to death.
Things I have tried:
1. Moving to another position closer/further = doesn't help
2. Switching to another companion = helps maybe 25% of the time
3. Initially, I thought it was tied to using the talents/spells that weren't assigned because it seemed to happen only during boss battles when I was more likely to use the other abilites, but this proved not to be the case.
Sometimes my companions would "quit the field" too and just start slowly walking away even though there was a very ALIVE and ticked high dragon RIGHT there and please stop walking away because it's going to ki-
Alright, we're dead. Thanks bro.
Again, this is something I saw in all of the acts, just not sure where to post it. Sorry if it's in the wrong place.
Thank The Maker! I thought I was the only one getting this during battles. I had to continually hit the D-pad buttons in hopes of targeting enemies again.
I got that a few times too, can't attack the ennemies for a few secs while they still can
Plus, in several fights, ennemies start gliding towards you rather than walking or runing, while they're doing that they seemed to be bugged and you can attack them freebie. I didn't get it a lot on my first playtrough but I am getting it a lot now.
Still playing with my female mage hawke, with imported origins save data.
An updated on the lags, it's not happening only during exploration now, it also happens into battle. 5-6 second lags. Also, I noticed it didn't really happen in sundermount and the wounded coast. Seems to be concentrated in kirkwall, outside or inside.
Actually, it seems Sundermount is completely bug free, at least for me.
