Never mind, I found it on another forum. It's too bad there's not a search feature here. And that was one seriously messed up quest.

Made Beth a GW
I am hesitant to play on as this might screw up something later on.
Could someone from BW please explain if this is simply a journal error or something bigger

Night Terrors - I didn't help the demon and all I got from the Keeper was a tome that showed up as a junk item (which I sold for some silvers) and didn't do anything, when I saw the word tome come up in the items received notification I got all excited and it was a bit of a let down - is it supposed to be like this or is it a bug?.
I also got this. What? A piece of vendor trash? Is it worth like 2 coppers or something? I can't comment on the other one you brought up because I didn't do that quest.

In fact, thats the issue I have problems with right now. According to the thread, everyone thinks the friendship buff with isabela has something to do with it, or even armor sets. I've confirmed that something was wrong with my game, and that whatever it may be happens in act 2, whichever it is that is causing the problem. I definitely know because I loaded a save from the Deep Road Expedition and Hawke's Attack speed was as it should be, compared to my game in Act 3 where Hawke is slower in his attacks, while party companions are unaffected.
I also have some minor issues to report. In my games, certain enemies, as well as my allies will freeze in place for a while, and then resume attacks. I also noted a quest bug on "Sketchy on the Details" I killed the five groups and then found im on the docks, he gave me the mage staff, and the quest should have been completed, but it wasn't. It remained an active quest even though I talked to Sketch and got the mage staff, I was cheated outta xp that time. And finally a issue with Merill in Act 3 concerning conversation choices, when I visited her home in Act 3, she talks about a death in the dalish clan, and I have no idea because at the time Act 3 had just begun.

If you let that guy that's hunting the white lily murders survive, later on I went to him to look for my mother right, finished the mission and everything. Been playing for a couple of hours and I got to Isabella's mission, and the quest where you follow the blood trail for All that Remains was still active in the area where her mission is (Night time at Low Town I think), I went through it and the mission didn't repeat fortunately, hence why I said minor bug.

After "woohooing" with Isabela in your estate, her armor loses a rune slot when you recieve "Threads of the Eastern Seas"

I had Fenris in my party and was ambushed, opening the area for one of his companion quest, "A Bitter Pill". I had forgotten that I switched my party around and went to the area anyway. Upon entering the area without Fenris in my party, I found that there was no way to leave. I had no "Leave Area" option even though it showed an exit on the map. I decided to press on and entered the slaver ruins. Despite not having Fenris, the conversation with the elf slave girl actually triggered, panned to an empty area of the ruins, and the Fenris dialogue was spoken despite him not being present. I backtracked to the entrance to the ruins only to find that I could now not leave them. I pressed on and attempted to finish the quest anyway. Upon killing the Magister, nothing happens because Fenris isn't in my party. I'm now stuck in the ruins with no way to leave, since the entrance doesn't work, and no way to complete it because I don't have Fenris.
I have this bug too, is there any way to fix this or to get around it?

After completing the Deep Roads expedition and the beginning Act 2 conversation with the Viscount, it says the I completed the Merrill specific quest "Mourning" even though I have not spoken to her yet.
I have this issue as well. I haven't read the whole thread yet, but my question is this:
Is there a way via console commands to clear a specific quest/remove it from the completed list? Or a file one can edit to do so? Merrill has the broken mirror in her apartment but due to Mourning being marked as completed, I can't seem to advance her romance despite my "friend" level being at 100 percent now.
I'm on the PC as an aside, using a Signature edition boxed edition of the game.

I don't know how to remove a quest from the completed list but you can manually trigger quests with the console and complete Mirror Image that way. See my last post on the second page of this thread.
