Second in the Best Served Cold quest I am getting a consistent crash at the same point during dialogue sequence with Thrask and mage. I've tried reloading to an earlier save but this did not help. The crash occurs at the exact same spot partway through the conversation shortly after they treaten to kill Hawke's sister

I've just come across this issue too. I killed the Architect, and yet Nathaniel says the Warden-Commander spared him.. :STony_Knightcrawler wrote...
Nathaniel Howe and the Architect's status:
Even though my import clearly - and correctly - showed that I killed the Architect, Nathaniel told me that the Warden spared him.
So that's it, I've run out of things to play in the game without encountering a continuity-breaking bug (and I've put over a hundred hours into this story), or skipping content. Wonderful, and I'll bet this one is never fixed since I'm the only one I'd seen complaining about this particular problem with Nathaniel.
I have this too.
I has an idea.
I played Warden's Keep DLC. And I spared Avernus. That triggers these letters:
http://dragonage.wik..._Warden_Letters
Which triggers this quest:
http://dragonage.wik...i/Dark_Epiphany
I wonder if Avernus decisions assume the Architect's existence and if there's a system in place that prioritizes DAO decisions over Awakenings decisions in the event of a conflict--thus making the Architect alive if you spared Avernus--no matter what you did with the Architect in Awakenings.
Did you guys play that DLC and spare Avernus?

Played DLC, didn't spare Avernus, didn't get Dark Epiphany, Architect was detected as being alive (while wasn't, even according to the import data screen). Unrelated.

That sucks because he drops the Champion chest piece.Remtastic wrote...
Not sure if this has happened to anyone one else, but when I finish the mine massacre quest and kill the high dragon I don't get any loot what so ever. So annoying!

Edit: Nevermind, I fixed it. Post can be removed.
PROTIP; if you have an issue, and you fix it yourself, it would be pretty awesome if you left it alive, and said what you did - incase someone else got the same problem/issue - even if its something really simple.

Apologies if I'm repeating what has already been mentioned, but issues I've encountered in Act 3 so far (not completed the first play through yet):
Arcitect was stated to have been spared, but I killed him (and his death was highlighted as such in the import save screen),
Who Needs Rescuing side quest will not work - bandit leader is waiting for something in the Wounded Coast, doesn't highlight with TAB but does with mouse,
Reining it In side quest will not complete, even after leader is killed in side street - quest marker shows her death point on the map even after the body is looted,
Final part of Aveline's armour has failed to appear after Favour & Fault quest is completed.
My respect to everyone involved with this game, Bioware are still the gold standard, in my most humble opinion.

1) I did *not* get the end of Merrill's "A New Path" companion quest prematurely playing when I went to her house early in the act. I got the quest for the first time after talking with Alistar, and having not had the earlier issue I thought I might be all right and went over to Merrill's. I was able to complete "A New Path" (it shows as finished in my log even though I didn't see it check off in the HUD) after talking to the Dalish upon exiting the cave. I did not kill the Dalish.
The new quest "Questioning Beliefs" appeared in my log, telling me to talk to Merrill in her home, but when I go back to her house there is no completion icon above her head and when I talk to her she says something about how she hasn't been able to get her home in order after being here for six years (just hum-drum banter she would say if there was nothing else to talk about).
It seems I'm not getting the ending of "A New Path" so it's not letting me initiate "Questioning Beliefs."
I have not yet done "Best Served Cold" by the way, which I'm hearing is supposed to be the real trigger of Merrill's companion quest.
Merrill was about midway through friendly and I was not in a romance with her. I did give her the Dalish artifact after companion quest in Act 2, though not right away. She had to argue with me first.
2) "Who Needs Rescuing" appeared in my quest log as soon as control of my character was handed over to me at the start of Act 3. Like others, I can't get any farther than having a non-interactive bandit leader spawn for me on the Wounded Coast.
3) On "Finding Nathaniel" the Architect was referred to as alive even though I killed him on my Awakenings playthrough. The debug console confirmed that he's dead in my import save data, so I assume that the game is not checking flags correctly.

Issue: Grand Cleric MIA; Anders not usable after
Details: Quest log tells me to go distract the Grand Cleric but when I go to the Chantry it triggers a cut scene with Anders where he says thanks and that he'll see me after he's done. At this point I get an acknowledgement that the quest has updated, but it still tells me to speak to the Grand Cleric. Grand Cleric is not in the Chantry but if I go back to Anders clinic there's a cut scene and his outfit changes. At this point I can no longer add him to my party in the party select. I was 100% friendship with him prior to this quest and agreed to help him every step of the way.

I am now getting the slow-mo combat on my mage too, it's a pretty awful bug since every single action locks your character into it for so long. With the bugs now racking up in my game I guess it's time to stop until a real patch comes out. yaay
I've had that too, terribly annoying. At first it was fine though, I wonder what the cause is.

Merril's dialogues appearing out of order so you get here end quest scene before getting the actual quest.
Not able to complete the kidnapped noble sidequest, there's a bandit leader but no way to interact with him.

I receive a letter from the Knight Commander titled "On the Loose"
No quest with that name in my log. Just the main plot quest The Last Straw.
Go talk to the Knight Commander, whe eventually tells you to talk to her assistant Elsa about the 3 run away mages.
Elsa is no where to be found, and I can't contiune the story line.
Same here. Is there a PC console way around this?
