During "Best Served Cold" I had to reload in the middle of the fight on the beach, after reloading Bethany changed outfits, she had been wearing her Grey Warden Outfit but she was now dressed in the circle robes.

I had to reload to back before the fight started in order for her to have the right outfit on.

I had a similar issue with Carver during "Finding Nathaniel" -  after reloading he was in his starting outfit rather than Grey Warden armour.

I'm having an issue with not being able to travel anywhere after completing the main quest. the only places I can go is the Hawke estate or the black emporium even though I have uncompleted quests that require I go else where. Anyone having this issue as well? or know how to fix? any help is appreciated.

I know there's a lot of discussion in the PC tech problem about Act 3 attack speed and growing negative damage resistance numbers (I had to use the save-game edit temp solution when mine got to -35 damage resistance) but I don't know whether it has been mentioned in this thread. BTW, I never used the reconfigure Potion, so that couldn't have caused my problem, although I know it's been tied to similar problems.

I've been bashing my head against the wall trying to troubleshoot the Merrill Chronology Bug in act III where the quest "A Talking To" triggers before "A New Path." I've been trying desperately to figure out a way to remove that quest, but none of the console commands I know bring up anything capable of removing it. Frustrating.

I completed the side mission "reigning it in" but for some reason, the game doesn't acknowledge that I completed the quest.

So far I am having the following:

Nathaniel says "spared architect" when I killed him.
Zevran doesn't seem to remember to be in a relationship with my living warden.
Aveline's final armor is missing.
the "Who needs rescuing" doesn't even work... bandit dude is unclickable.

Injury immunity for Hawke:

As of early Act 3 when Hawke dies he doesnt get an injured symbol anymore. I was just able to drink 3 injury potions even though he appeared uninjured before they finally greyed out (this matches the 3 times he has died recently). There appears to be no health penalty for an injury to Hawke anymore as he has a full health bar with no reserved portion no matter how often he dies.

All other party members still show injuries like normal and have health penalties like normal.

I had the issue with the Architect. I had killed him and it acts like I let him live.

Additionally, I have a pretty major bug with the last cutscene. Game crashes before it goes to credits and I never get a final savegame.

Romance Bug with Merrill in Act 3.

The final romance dialgoue plays well before the end of her questline. I had to actually read this
on Wiki, as when I found Merrill crying in a corner whispering "She's gone, she's gone" I was slightly puzzled to say the least, being as I didn't know who she was.

Also, in Act 2, the Eluvian disappears from Merrill's house in the Alienage.

Youhave to wonder, did anyone actually play this game through from start to finish before they shipped? I mean some of the bugs are so FREAKING GLARING it's IMPOSSIBLE not to notice them. Bad show Bioware, very bad show.

Justsack Mike Laidlaw and wait until ME3 is finished, then put Christina
Norman in charge of future DA titles. Or just actually do some Quality
Assurance before you release. Sigh, I wish Bioware hadn't been greedy
and sold out to EA. Sure, it might have taken you longer to get your
games out, but man, they would have been so much better.

Architect is still alive yet I killed him in Awakening
LI from Origins is not being recognized in the game.
Leliana is not being recognized as an LI from another Origins save in the Exiled Prince DLC.

* I romanced Zevran with my Warden and I didn't let the Warden go into the Eluvian with Morrigan. So when I imported the save, I expected him to speak affectionately of the Warden. I didn't expect him to want to sleep with Hawke (and Isabela). If you romanced Zevran with your Warden and the Warden died, then the Origins epilogue says Zevran never took another lover. Right....
* In the beginning of Act 3 when I go talk to Merrill, she starts sobbing about the Keeper being dead. Eh, hello? Keeper very much alive in the camp. Vamoose, the mirror vanishes, then when I talk to Merrill again, she's adressing the now invisible mirror.

I agree. The more I play this game, the more I like it, but jeesh, how can a game get shipped with glaring bugs like this?

Zevran does not acknowledge the romance with the warden, nor does his codex mention that he was the warden's lover. When using the mod that fixes the import flag, this fixes the codex, and he will reject Isabela because he is in mourning (for alive wardens as well). Also, he still responds to Hawke's flirting, and again, he thinks the warden is dead, even if the warden was alive (and every other reference to the warden has them as alive).

Apologize if this has already been mentioned, but I cannot complete "Favor and Fault" in act III. I accompanied Aveline to rescue Donnic on patrol, and I got the next step in the quest. Well, after that, I told Anders that I wouldn't help him distract the Grand Cleric. I got a whopping -30 approval from him, and I left to try to move on to the next step of Aveline's quest. When I went to the party screen to select her in my party, she's greyed out like Isabella (who left after in act II) or Bethany when she's in the Circle. I can't select Aveline at all now. If I go talk to her at her office she tells me she needs to talk to Cullen and if I talk to Cullen, he tells me Aveline needs to be there, too. I've reloaded and I still have the problem. Aveline is unselectable and she shouldn't be. If anyone should be unselectable, it's Anders.

Running on PC, Windows 7 64bit, DX11, disc version, all drivers up to date.

Issues: Same Merril bug as everyone else, same rescue the kidnapped noble bug, same Isabela bug randomly appearing, same issues with Zevran's cameo, Ander's armour upgrades vanishing so unenchantable until the final quest triggers (this seems quite random, has only happened once so far on a mage playthrough), a lot of empty loot (clicking on enemies/chests and there being nothing there to take - this has happened in all playthroughs) and various characters final armour upgrades missing (another random one - still looking for a pattern with it).

The biggest issues right now seem to be Merril's final quest line being bugged, and Isabella/Sebastian's speed and damage resistance game breaking bugs.

Unfortunately, I'm not going to be able to finish the game until both of these are fixed. Bummer.

Fingers crossed the both get fixed in the next patch, and that those are soon.

I also have the "best served cold" bug that prevents me from searching the non-existent bodies in high town, and now the game cannot proceed.

A previous poster submitted this about 21 days ago, and I presume hasn't had any luck, since there didn't seem to be a response.

This is BS. I can’t continue on the plot line now.
The game crashes when I try to enter the Templar place in the Gallows and I can’t continue on the plot quest ‘On the loose’.
Also, my champion attack speed has gotten ridiculous slow.. Now when he performs a mighty blow, the hang time has reached Matrix epicenes to a point that it’s sort of funny.

I don't know if this has been mentioned or not, but none of the Followers of She show up in Lowtown, so I am unable to complete the Kind of Want quest. Funny thing is that in my first playthrough, they did show up.

Also, like many others I am encountering Merrill's quest dialogue appearing before I've even gotten the quest as well as not being able to rescue the noble's daughter.

EDIT: Oh yeah, and Olaf's Armory chest(s) disappear - one in Act 2 and the other in Act 3.

Can not complete Fenris's "Questioning Beliefs" quest after refusing to listen to his story.

Also can not complete "Who Needs Rescuing?" because the necessary NPCs are not present whenever I visit the Wounded Coast and every last area within it.

SPOILERS!!
Here are my Act 3 bugs so far:
  • I am halfway through Aveline's "Favor & Fault" Quest (proved complaints are false), but unable to go back and talk to Cullen because the "Last Straw" quest has already queued and will instantly start if I go back to the Gallows - so now I am unable to finish Aveline's quest.
  • I refused to help Anders with his "Justice" Quest, so now all he says to me is that "It doesn't matter what I do now.  The wheels are in motion" ... he still has a "Questioning Beliefs" Plot Point mark over his head, but I cannot initiate dialogue.
  • There is an "Exclamation Point/Quest Mark" over my writing desk, but no new letters. Been there a while now.
  • I also have the "Who Needs Rescuing?" bug.
  • Merrill killed the Keeper & we killed the clan, but other than a conversation she had with Sebastian, there has been no mention of it. Is she supposed to have another quest or dialogue about what happened?
Edit: I went back with Merrill to Sundermount after the killings & this is what she said "What is the Keeper thinking? What if the Templars come? Or an angry mob? This is madness!"  She only said it on the first initial visit back after the killings - hasn't said it since.

--

So do I need to restart (again) by finding an earlier save? Can I console command some of these problems/bugs away? Thanks for any help!

PC, running windows 7 64bit, disc version, DX11, all drivers up to date. Also - spoiler ahoy.

I don't know if this is a bug or something that got missed: If your PC tells Cullen about Anders he says he's abandoned the clinic, yet he's still there and still available for party selection (in my game anyway). Either something's broken or basic detective skills do not appear to be part of Templar training. :D

So far:
-Same Merrill bug as everyone else

-Same kidnapped noble quest bug as everyone else (also, of note, the quest was in my log at the beginning of Act 3, before I read the letter, if that means anything to you).

-I'm not getting a Questioning Beliefs quest for Anders after doing his collect quest, but refusing to help him at the Chantry. Not sure if this is intended, since it's the only time I've turned down any part of a companion quest.

-I had to restart from an earlier save when I went to turn in Aveline's companion quest to Cullen after reading Orsino's letter. A suggestion: if at all possible move the trigger for starting the last main quest to going into the Templar Halls, instead of the outside Gallows area, where there are other quest-givers and merchants.

-Game crashes about halfway through fighting the High Dragon (and also frequently at random other times).

-Various empty loots.

-The oft-mentioned negative damage resistance and attack speed bugs (I thought my computer was lagging until I switched to another character and realized only Hawke was moving in slow motion).

-At one point, I forget when exactly, Gameln was standing in the doorway in the Hawk Estate near Sandal's enchanting table for no apparent reason, during and after a cutscene.

-Not sure where I stand with Isabela since I got the whole "falling for you" conversation and reciprocated, but she was still very anti-attachment when I gave her the talisman later. I did kill the slaver instead of blackmailing him, but she seemed to forgive me for that at the time (before the "falling for you" talk).

-In Isabela's codex entry for Act 3 there are two slightly different versions of what happened after she came back. I'm assuming that one is for friendship (my path) and the other for rivalry.

-Alistair mentions that the Hero of Ferelden should be back in Denerim by now, even though I went through the Eluvian in my save (possibly not a bug, implying that the Warden came back after a few years, but it seems to be implying that he just stayed in Denerim which was what I chose for one of my options post-coronation (with later saying I might go after Morrigan), but not what was reflected by my Awakening epilogue (it had me going after Morrigan after leaving Vigil's Keep), or my choices in Witch Hunt).

-I know this almost definitely doesn't count as a bug, but I might as well point out the massive continuity error with Anders. According to my epilogue in Awakening he left the Wardens once for two months, not six years, and to be honest, after the ending of this game I really don't see any way he could go back to them at any point no matter what Hawke decides about him. I mean, giving me the option to contradict my ending from a previous game would be one thing, but I seem to have no choice about it at all. Here's hoping there was supposed to be something in-game to explain this.

I've had that one - twice when you hand the shard over to Sandal.

I currently have the issue with Meredith at the end game where the first Guardian statue walks to the center of the area and just stands there. Whittle him down to 1% hp and it doesn't go anywhere from there, nor does he attack. Went through the game on 2 characters (just to see if my first file was corrupted or something) and same issue with both. Unable to complete the game as of right now.

Side Note: This is me using a Steam copy of the game, not a hard copy.
