So, as I have read not to many people like fenris...and I'm wondernig on why the hell not? Seriously he is every fan girls dream out there! Charming, emo, stong, make's my panties goo BAM!

Sorry, I had to put that at the very begining becuase I love Fenris, any who...So here is my question, which guy and girl was the best romance option?  Also, i'm ot talking about personality, if that were the case then verric would take me for the win! Btw, who else thinks it's unfair that you can't have verric as a romance option? Though, I do get the whole big brother character role he plays, hes just friking amazing becuase I roll on the floor laughing every time he talks.

Which romance character is the best?Posted Image

Sorry, but a contradicting elf who is a rude to me is not my cup of tea.

Anyways Isabela for me <3

I prefer Anders. I hate blood mages (even if I understand their plight), Isabela bored me to tears, and Fenris gets his panties in a wad everytime so much as excuses the existence of free mages. He has too many feelings for me.

Which is hypocritical, I know, since Anders isn't exactly being quiet about his view on things, but as one unstable apostate to another, it's easier to deal with someone you agree with. And hatesex isn't my thing.

I loved Fenris, broody and angsty, but he comes from a very harsh and difficult life. I like the romances where you can hopefully make someones life better and show them love still has something to offer them.

I did Fenris first but didn't complete the romance, but he stayed with my evil warden in the end, so good for them I guess. On my good playthrough I romanced Anders, and I think that is a much deeper and more tragic romance. So uh, go with Anders and be prepared for a difficult choice at end game.

I better see some excellent DLC that puts Awakening to shame, did not get enough with DA2. I've already done TWO nearly complete playthroughs that have glitched out numerous quests.

I really liked Fenris. I thought he was relatively well-adjusted. He apologized when he was rude, and was suprisingly civil towards Bethany.
I wanted to give Anders a try this playthrough, but I just can't do it yet. I wasn't a big fan of the mages in Origins, and it seems like 90% of the ones in DA2 would rather hang out with demons. I blame the thin veil in Kirkwall.

Isabela is by far the best in my opinion.

But I will say that what happened to my mate (in the real world not in game) after he and Merrill had sex was by far the most legendary thing in the world I've seen. I won't annoy you with the story PM if you're curious ^_^

Anyway I liked Isabela a lot as a character, she had backbone, was strong, cracked a lot of jokes and could take them, she's fun and attractive ;)

And the romance feels rewarding and you just feels like she actually cares about Hawke. This of course goes to great voice acting and a great work to the writer Sheryl Chee :)

Varric made me smile when he said everyone left me but Isabela ;)

I'm still making my mind up between the pornstar of the seas and the socially awkward elf. Either way I lose.

I'm not even considering Fenris, I think he was made to appeal to the Edward fangirls.

Anders made me wibble. He's got a very tragic story though, so if you like doomed romances, go for Anders. If this were real life though, I'd totally have fallen for Isabela.

You got that feeling, too? lol.

Plenty of girls like brooding, angsty, beautiful men. Varric even comments on this.

I had to go with the tragic doomed lover though. More of my cup of tea. :P

I am currently romancing Fenris, I like him the best.
If I play a male, I will probably romance Isabela because after getting to knoe Merrill, I cant stand her. She lies and she's a blood mage, which brings me to another point. WTH happened to the mages on here? I love playing mage class, always have but they all seem so evil on here. I find it is not that hard to go against them on here...
I will do a playthrough where Sebastian is my LI but for the most part I will stick with Fenris. Anders is just ... I dunno, just dont like him on here, as I did in Awakenings.
I absolutely love Varric, he is the only constant in my party, everyone else gets switched.

Anders was my first choice. Blondie's funny and I think his dislike of the Templars and the Chantry is understandable. Now I find myself torn because he is getting a tad too fanatical for me. Oh, Anders, If only my noble healer was a little more reasonable. I blame Justice.

I am now leaning towards Isabella simply because she is the only one without an agenda *sigh*

Actually I think Varric is the only one who really doesn't have an agenda other than the deep roads expedition.

True. Too bad my trusty dwarf is not romancable. Isabella may turn out to have a hidden agenda too, but at least it has nothing to do with mages or templars.

I tried to romance Arishok and he just stared at me, so I followed him around and he ignored me, I said I'd convert to Qun and he said they were full, but I saw them take in two new elves from the Alienage so I know that wasn't true.. he hasn't returned any of my letters either. :(

Back on topic: Merrill seemed cute at first but really got on my nerves and I wanted to whack her on the nose with a rolled up newspaper and say "No! ..No!"

Isbella seemed a bit.. too "open" for me. Fenris seems fun.. wouldn't mind dressing him up in some dark clothing, maybe something on the 'goth' side.

That's it !  And added "Bad girl" :P

Sometimes Isabela's behavior remind me Oghren, for humor when we have a LI.

Isabella no doubt my favorite. I actually slept with Merrill first and the morning after she told me she loved me. I told her to gtfo, and then romanced Isabella, was much better.

Ok i'm still in the early stages of act 1 and finding the Talk with Anders.....worrying.  As much as I'm loving the new dialogue system this is one instance where it's proving to be a real ****.

I don't intend on romancing him but since i've always loved his character wanted to start things off as friendly as possible...which just isn't an option.  Any ideas?

Should I just turn him down and trust my future pro-mage choice will push him all the way to the friend zone?

Will choosing to flirt to gain friend points cause future "HOW DARE YOU TOY WITH MY EMOTIONS??!!! VENGEANCE WILL BE MINE!!" badness?

I'm i stressing way too much on a tiny choice that really has no repercussions?

I was really let down by Isabela. This probably best explains why.

Merrill is quite cute, but perhaps too much.

I've only done Anders romance so far, but after completing it, I find it hard to imagine another arc topping his. Yes it's tragic, but it's also really sweet at times. For a mage Hawke, I don't really think there could be a better option. But I'll at least try Fenris's, and probably Isabela's too since I can't help but like her.

I like Aveline and Varric best.

OH WAIT.

Srsly though I only have done Anders and Fenris and found them both a bit annoying, but at least Anders was gut-wrenching. Fenris was just a bit anticlimactic. "Oh, sorry I walked out on you three years ago. Kiss and make up?" *facepalm*

I only did the Merrill one, so there you go. Her romance is pretty cute.
