After watching the cutscene of Sebastion shooting the wanted poster out of the Sister's hand. The chanters board is unable to do anything. I cant click on it at all, it tells me to look at it. It shows the exclamation mark to click on it. however it does not allow me to do anything. I am very very upset. I paid 7 dollars to get him, and now its bugged....

Same issue. Second act, right out of the deeproads I installed this addon. Can't click on the board.
Amongst the other absurd number of bugs and broken content, this makes me regret purchasing this broken game.

I also have this problem. The tab highlight is there but there is no button to interact with.
Is there a console command to trigger opening the Chanter Board? That's all I need I think, just the trigger.

Bumping.
I reported wrongly in my previous post, their is no tab highlight. Their is a quest exclamation mark but no tab highlighted button.
Also, it seems that in the following act you can continue on with the DLC quests as if you had done them. I have the option of doing a quest called "Faith" in the Chantry during Act 4 despite never having even met the DLC character; I don't even know his name. I'm going to try to avoid doing it if at all possible, save it for a different playthrough.

Exact same problem. I've been trying to figure this out as well. Here's something I found that maybe you, Kurupt, can understand. I don't understand this 'console command trigger' talk, so if you figure it out please reply.

So yesterday I reported the problem and I got this in response:
"We are sorry but we will not be able to help you out with this issue. I advise you to please report a bug, please post on the game forum. These forums are maintained and monitored by the community leaders and production team. By posting on these forums you will be able to submit direct report to the appropriate person...
In the meantime, I will pass the information you have provided to the development team. Regretfully we do not have information on if or when a fix will be put in place. They are however collecting data from the community and are examining solutions if they determine enough customers have the problem and the problem is technically addressable with a patch, or if a work around is possible."

It seems there's a way to get this to fix itself. If by chance there are any DLCs that you haven't gotten yet (the belt from Penny Arcade, for instance), grab and install them. After I did this I was able to open the Chanter's Board normally and get on with the game.
This might also mean that re-installing the game could fix it, if you've already gotten them all. Long shot though, on that one.

Rashabella, google search "enable dragon age console". The instructions will probably be for DA:O but that doesn't matter, the steps are exactly the same (but done to the DA2 files obviously). Once you have done that, enter the command from the thread you found into the console and it should trigger the Chanter Board.
Warning: the console and what you type into it are invisible. After pressing the console hotkey check you have opened the console by pressing "W", if your character doesn't move the console is open. Afterwards, hold backspace for 5s or so to ensure all text is deleted; then type in "runscript zz_seb_debug" followed by enter. You should get a dialogue window to navigate to the right place.
Hope that helps, have fun.

FINALLY! KURUPT HAD THE RIGHT IDEA!
Okay, so first things first, check to see if the Command Console is activated. While in-game hit the ` (aka) ~ button. If your character can move (check using the hotkey "W") then you can move on to the next step (step 2):
http://www.gamefaqs....age-ii/58376311
-Step 1-
If not, go to this page:
http://dragonage.wik...om/wiki/Console
Refer to "Enabling the Console" for instructions. If you can't find the exact folder they speak of, do a file search ("bin_ship"), that's how I found mine. In my search only Dragon Age Origins and Dragon Age 2 came up, so it was very easy!
When you have located the "bin_ship" folder: Right click on "DragonAge2" and make a shortcut. From there you can select the shortcut's properties and add the additional text ( " -enabledeveloperconsole") shown in the above instructions and hit okay.
-Step 2-
Now that's enabled, make sure you double click on the shortcut that you just made and edited! From there, upload your save and hit your console command hotkey (which is the tilde key for me). As Kurupt said, it's invisible so just hit backspace to make sure your typing area is clear and type, not copy paste, this:
runscript zz_seb_debug
Now click
on "Duty - Act 1", then "Jump to location", then "Kirkwall - Chantry
Exterior."
All done! Worked for me! I'm on a Windows XP. Here's to hoping no more future bugs with this DLC. Thanks Kurupt!<3

Doesn't this have an adverse reaction on the game? Basically, aren't you tricking the game into thinking you are in Act 1 again? Like, is Aveline still a captain, or does the game think she's just a guardsman again? Things like that?

Story and all its content has remained the same. I don't know why it says Act one, when I myself was well into Act 2. To answer your question, yes Aveline is still the captain of the guard. I've seen no other storyline or character problems.

Thank you! I've been having this same problem, but was worried that doing this might mess up my game. I'll try giving it a shot

What you're actually doing is loading the Hightown area for Act 1, so there's some weird side effects like all of the chests and containers from Act 1 are back, Bartrand's back, and Hawke manor is inaccessible, but as soon as you area transition away and then back again it will load the correct version of Hightown so there shouldn't be any lingering oddities. I would not recommend talking to Bartrand though, no telling what that might do.
