Man I don't anyone gets how hard it is to have to meet a deadline with a game, And a bioware game its huge and has a lot of detailed work. and yeah dlc on day one is going to be a little bugged. the game has only been out for what 2 weeks. Im sure they are doing the best they can with everything. So for everyone complaining that they are terrible and aren't doing there job. You guys need to relax it will be fixed when they get all the bugs out. who knows when it will be. but just be patient.
Yes, there is a lot of work that goes into making a triple-a game, which is why most of us don't understand why they rushed the game to make the deadline, without further examination and testing. Outside of these achievement issues, there are also broken side-quests that have NOTHING to do with the dlc, and other issues regarding graphical errors, etc. A lot of these mistakes and issues seem rather amatuer, for lack of a better term. Consider the fact that have continually made the same mistake with achievemnets. Regardless if the problem originates with Microsoft or EA,it is an issue that plagues their games more than any other.I enjoy Bioware's games, but this particular game was rushed. No other way to look at it. They could have delayed the game and I would have been fine with that. So, please do not complain about people complaining, when they clearly have valid issues to complain about, especially on a forum that was created for that sole purpose. How about you be patient and do nothing, while the rest of us will make sure that this information is shared to help expedite the process of a fix? Deal?

What is it with Bioware's day one DLC always having these stupid issues with their achievements?
I'm starting to think Bioware doesn't care about achievements. lol
lol, I'm starting to think that's the only logical conclusionI think you are absolutely right! But nonetheless I am enjoying the main game, hoping that by the end I'm done with it the dlc is properly fixed!
Me too, I've so much time on my hands though, I think this is my fourth playthrough now!
Great game, and I still am having more than enough fun without achievements.

Wow, 4th playthrough eh. I'm not even done with my first one yet, I'm on act 3 now and after that all I have to do is do my last two partial playthroughs and I should have 1000g in that game. If you don't mind me asking, could I add you on Xbox Live? You seem cool.

Anyone else having the Supplier achievement not coming up either if they bought a few ingredients in The Black Emporium? Was figuring that could be a dlc thing too. Going back thru the game and collecting all parts without buying any. But when I bought them I thought you had to, to get them all. So I'm out 155 points?
Let's say you've missed an elfroot and deathroot in Act 2, then you try and buy them via the Black Emporium in Act 3 but you can't. I think that's because the Black Emporium only let's you buy certain ingredients that you've missed but not every single ingredient.
I got my Supplier achievement today and I can confirm that it is not glitched or anything. I didn't miss a single ingredient and my last ingredient was Felandaris where as the achievement unlocked shortly after. It's located in the Pride's End cave in SunderMount during Merril's final companion quest in Act 3.

Ok so I know I can't get my dlc achievements yet but I just finished my second playthrough (twice in fact defeating the final boss twice on my second playthrough) but the epic achievement did not unlock. My origins saves all got corrupted when my previous xbox 360 died so I played 2 full playthroughs to get this achievement and nothing. Any one else have this issue or know how it can be fixed?
The Epic achievement is currently glitched if you do not have a origin save file I'm afraid. But it has been confirmed that you can import an in-complete save file from Origins (without beating the game) and it will still unlock the Epic achievement.

Yah, would love a fix soon, my game just arrived but I don't want to start until I have access to all the items/gear I should have.
Don't worry, it's just achievements not unlocking, most things in-game are working properly

Yeah, achievements aren't my problem unfortunately, my problem is that even with a signature edition game/code unlocked and redeemed on this website, my actual xbox 360 game has no access to the exiled prince DLC save for purchasing it. IE. my actual xbox 360 profile does not in anyway recognise that I have redeemed a code for the soundtrack or exiled prince DLC unfortunately.

I agree great game. However, i have had to put it down half way through my second playthru. It came out on the 11th (UK), 21st today, so thats a shame.10 days (64hours play) and I am a tad fed up. Its down to the re-used enviro's for me.

I was lucky enough to get the dlc down to my xbox. However, looking at my registered game content, I dont think we get the soundtrack to xbox. We do get access as a signature edition reward, but we have to access it via PC. By the way, the only code you redeem on here, is the signature edition rewards code. The exiled prince, and online pass are redeemed on Live for xbox. You did that, yes?

Everyone whining about the QC process and how "amateur" it all is...you guys do realise that the game these guys test isn't the same manufactured copy we get. There could be stuff happening in the manufacturing process that is unavoidable. Secondly, be grateful that there is the ability to get patches. Back in the day, if a game was glitched, you were out of luck.
But the same glitch happened before!! And why do the release DLCs on Day 1 of the Full Game!? Thats the Problem i have with Bioware/EA

Exactly.
The same thing happened with Witch Hunt, and we had to wait almost two months for the patch.
You'd think they've learned from their mistakes, but alas...now the same crap is happening again.
While I'm grateful to receive a patch, I'm mostly annoyed by the fact that my game needs a patch. They should have tested it properly before rushing to sell it on day one.
You know, Alan Wake never required a patch...and yes, I know it's a different genre, and it took five years to complete, but you see...no patches, no game-breaking bugs...
I'd gladly have waited two years for DA2 instead of one, if stuff like this could be avoided.
Not to be a whiner or a "hater" or a complainer. I'm not. I love DA2.
But they really should care more about their games, the same way they care about the story, characters and stuff to sell through DLC, they wouldn't be working on thousands of patches if they did.
Just my opinion.

Still, I want to be able to get 100%, I am not 100%ing another game until I can for Dragon Age II just to have it show back to back with Origins and everything related to it.
I'm weird that way, I also didn't finish all the achievements for Lost Odyssey because I didn't have the Treasure Trove and the first achievement I wanted to show after finishing them all was learning all the abilities for one character.
