We know that we can make many decisions in DAO (Hey, its Bioware).
So far we know that we can pick the Dwarven King. Either Prince Aeducan or Lord Harrowmont.
We also know that we can help in choosing a new king. Maybe Lorghain
Another thing I recently found out is that you either help the mages or the Templars.
So where would you stand in these conflicts. What is your agenda in DAO.
Make your stand! But where?

For now I know only that when I will play a first time (Dalish Elf)
I will kill Loghain ( if it will be possible) so the King it will be Alistair
-I will side with Elves against werewolves
that's all..I have to play the game and knows the others "choices" better before I will decide what to do...

As a human noble male,
For the dwarves I will probably stand with Prince Aeducan.
As far as the human royalty: SPOILERS
a.) I will marry Anora and take the throne with her
b.) I will side with Loghain, and either have him be king or keep Anora as queen.
These choices most likely depend on how involved I am in the romance side quests. If I'm not deep into the romances I'd more likely go with option A, but if I am I'll stick with Morrigan/Leliana and just support Loghain.
END SPOILERS
For the elves vs wolves I'll most likely side with the werewolves
For mages vs templars I'll side with the mages

I plan to install Loghain as king, and in general be his good little minion.
Mages and templar are not on different sides, it's mages who are too selfish to care about the danger they present to the average citizenry with their being highly at risk to demon possession. I plan to kill these rogue mages (who are a minority faction) with extreme vigilance, my mage sympathizes with templars.
I do not know enough about the dwarven situation to make a ruling.

Werewolves - if they really want to parley,
Templars - if mages are playing with demons and blood magic,
Lord Harrowmont - I am Prince Aeducan! Not this backstabbing little basterd!!!
Human royalty doesn't concer me much, but I like Alistair and dislike Loghain...

I don't quite know the history of the conflict for the Dwarven civil war well enough, nor the two prospects to make the choice. My first play through being a bit bitter over his own life being uprooted in the Human Noble origin however, he'll be siding with the Mages. To hell with that sanctimonious Chantry! As to King of Ferelden, himself, or maybe Alastair if he's an option -and- is the male romance option as well. Would make for a bittersweet decision I should think.
