Is there any way to keep bethany alive taking her into the deeproads/not joining the circle? Second question can you balance the love/hate between the mages/templars in the later acts? My only guess would be not doing anders quest to go into the chantry?

A) Take Anders. She'll become a Grey Warden, but she's gone from your party forever. At least in the Circle she can rejoin in the last mission.
No. Anders will do what he does no matter what you do. It's unavoidable. Might as well get XP for it.

Thats not true if Bethany joins the Wardens she'll make a cameo at the end of Act 2 with the other Wardens, she'll also appear in the Finding Nathaniel quest if he survived Vigil's Keep, and she'll be the hostage taken by Grace in the Best served cold quest. She'll be able to join your party again at the end Last Straw quest if you choose when she shows up.

Why !!!!!
I hate chosing in the end because.
A : don't wanna kill my sister if i side with the templars. And B. I hate the rogue ending where the world in chaos with mage revolt.
But alas were pigeon holed into it, ohh well mages get to die hope I can spare my charaters sister atleast.

She will be taken by the Templars to the Circle at the end of Act 1/start of Act 2. She will make a cameo at the end of Act 2 in the Demands of the Qun quest just as part of the circle with Orsino in front of the keep. In Act 3 she will be the hostage take by Grace in Best Served Cold, and will join you if you side with the mage's in Last Straw not sure if she will join you if you side with the Templar's though.
