Your mother mentions her cousin who lost most of her children to the circle including the hero of Ferelden.
Cullen mentions to Hawke how he knew an Amell once, who left the circle then return to save them all from Uldreds madness.
Anders references how a mage saved them from the blight.
Over all it was disappointing, from what I hear (and guess) Dalish origin has the most references.

The bartender references it, Anders references it, Alistair references it, and I think Cullen does too. Good times.

My warrior playthrough is my Dalish elf, and so far no mention of the hero of Ferelden has suggested she was Dalish, and I'm in Act 2.

Well it had the least in Origins so I suppose it's fitting.

Merrill talks about the Dalish Warden. The ambient dialogue of the elves around the camp mention "Mahariel," too. But yes, Merrill talks about it quite a lot, as her personal quest is entirely related to the eluvian that wrecked the Dalish Warden and Tamlen up.

Well, true. THough I didn't notice the mentioning of the Warden specifically. What is Mahariel? Was that the Dalish last name?
