So, my old NWN 2 cd is scratched to the point of being unusable and I bought it on steam. The problem is, EVERY time I start the game OR the toolset, it installs .net framework. not only is this taking 10+ minutes, it's also chipping away at my storage space (Windows is loaded on an SSD, so I'm tight on space to begin with). This is getting absolutely absurd.
I have a plethora of other games on steam that don't do this. Is anyone else having this problem? It does indeed install .net, as I can watch the space shrink on drive monitor as it loads.
The game does eventually run, so that's not an issue.

I know this specific issue was addressed on the steam forums. http://forums.steamp...play.php?f=1060
I can't find the specific threads offhand, but the fix was posted.

Go to your Neverwinter Nights 2 folder in your Steam\\steamapps\\common\\neverwinter nights 2 and rename the Redists folder.
