Am I missing a way to open it (I looked and can't find one) or is the door glitched shut? Any help would be wonderful

When I tried to do the compainion quest "A New Path" I got stuck. When I try to climb the mountian to get to where I need to go (through the cave on the smae path you took to free flemeth) I encounter a closed door in the second room.
Am I missing a way to open it (I looked and can't find one) or is the door glitched shut? Any help would be wonderful
