System specs:

8GB Kingston DDR3 RAM
AMD Phenom Quad core 2.8ghz
2x ATI Radeon 4870x2


Don't have problems with anything else...but with this game, sometimes I'll be playing and all of a sudden the game will start to lag like CRAZY. Unplayable I mean. Same amount of lag regardless of video settings, can be all up or all down, and lag is still the same.

Anyone else having weird ass lag spike issues?

what generation AMD Phenom do you have? I have a 9550 and had the same problem and huge loading times. found the TLB disable utility solved all these problems. check it on Hardwarecanucks.com

That utility doesn't seem to work. Downloaded and redownloaded it 4 times. It just hangs on "Working" when I launch the TLB utility.

try the core affnity fix listed in the Troubleshooting FAQ sticky at the top of page 1

Weird. The FAQ sticky fix is the same exact thing that Morrac told me to do. TLB utility. but the sticky's link's download of the same file worked on my computer. very odd. anyway. thanks jiron.

Sure... the thing with the TLB fix in the FAQ is that it's been pre-configured by Dateranoth of the "DA: O Unpaid Tech Support" team... he deserves the biggest thanks *grins* I'm just the one doing the organizing (and lots and lots of Google work)
