Randomly while playing I get huge lag spikes that make the game completely unplayable for a few seconds, this seems to happen a lot in cutscenes/when you're talking to someone, which usually causes me to miss out on what was said.

295 Geforce
6gb DDR3
Win7

I have all my updated drivers, etc.

Which AV program are you using? A couple of them will do that to games.
