Ok, so I've been searching the forums now for a while and I can't find any thread about this problem, if there is one and I've missed it, feel free to link it to me.

However, I got the game a day ago, and it was fine, no problems at all. Today when I woke up though, I couldn't start a new game nor load a previous game. It just says "The save file appears to be damaged and cannot be loaded"

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi. Sorry that you've been having problems with your savegames. I'd be happy to look into this problem with you. I apologize for it taking several days to get a reply, but hopefully we can get this sorted out in short order, now.

Could you verify a few things for me?

1. How many saves do you have for your active character, right now? Do -any- of the saves work?

2. When you say "I couldn't start a new game", what do you mean? Is the "New Game" button unavailable? Can you walk me through the steps of what you do and what you see on-screen?

3. What version of Windows are you running? Approximately how much hard drive space do you have available?

Answering these questions should help me to better understand your problem.
