Hi guys,
Could someone recommend for me a decent graphics card to play DA2 with at least high graphics detail?
I'm currently using a nVidia GeForce 7600 GT, and have to play the game on low detail if I want the movements to be smooth (even with that, the camera still seems jerky at times).
I've seen that some people are having problems with DX11, but if it's resolved then perhaps a graphics card that supports this is what I need, but any suggestions would be helpful!
Cheers.

Please name a budget amount, a screen resolution desired, and confirm that your PC is newer than 2006, so that a modern PCIe video bus add-on slot is used.

Preferably I would like to spend no more than £150, but I'd be interested in hearing any suggestions that may cost more than that. My screen resolution is 1680 x 1050, and I can confirm that my PC is newer than 2006.
Thanks for the response

For around the £150 mark you can get a Radeon HD5830 which if i recall is the reccomended DX11 card for around £100 theres the HD5770 which should run it on high just fine on DX11 mode and for less than £100 theres the HD5750 and HD5670 though their performence in DX11 mode at your resolution may not be what you want in DX9 though i've used a HD5670 and maxed the graphics out with high textures and it performs smoothly.
There are equiverlent Geforce cards to consider but somebody else can point you at those ones since i'm, not familiar with their DX11 cards capability and they may be way more expensive than the Radeon cards.

Here's a decent one, at a cost that will allow you to add a new power supply if your current one is either below 450 watts or older than two years or so (PSUs gradually deteriorate, and need replacement within three years).

Ahh, I see that local reinforcements from your own side of the pond have landed. If there is a better place than Amazon-UK to find both good service and a better price, she may be able to help better than I . .
