So what's the best two handed weapon in the game? Is it like the start of the game? where do i get it?

no idea what's the best, i know Hayder's Razor will get you a long way, i think i'm almost finished now and i haven't seen a better one yet, dps wise yes i have, but the stats on hayder's razor are just nice, if i find a better one i'll inform you

if you do the Qunari 10 sword quest you get a pretty badass looking sword, looks like the one used from qunari leader

I was using Her Song (greatsword) towards the end of my first playthrough.

i found the best 2 hander u can buy, its Limptaker, the dwarf that sells blades in Hightown sells it, it beats the Qunari sword tho i agree the qun sword looks badass

I had trouble figuring out which 2 hander I should use for my warrior. Went from Hayder's Razor to the Oathbreaker found in the Deeproads. Then at the end of act 2, I found this random axe drop with 52 dps, +42 stamina, +15 crit damage, +10% physical damage.

I stuck with that until I found the Celebrant. Although, I'm a bit divided if I should have used Bloom instead.

Jman5 i used Celebrant from the time i got it through the end of the game. it is in my opinion the best 2 handed weapon in the game. it deals out spirit damage, which if you read the load screen hints, cannot be blocked and reduces enemy resistance to other elements and you add a secondary elemental rune on top of that plus a mages ability to put an element on weapons and you pretty much have an unstoppable 2 handed weapon.

Hayder's Razor is beast. I don't wanna give it up, especially with a elemental rune in it with Asail .
It also looks like Sol Bad guy's sword in Guilty Gear, its so bad ass.

Theres three weapons that deal the same damage Bloom, Celebrant, and Sundering. Each one does a different type of damage, Bloom does 38 cold, Celebrant does 38 spirit and Sundering does 38 lightning. The effectiveness of the blades depends on which type of enemy you are facing and their resistances

Some enemys are completely resistant to spirit, so you do no damage.

Final act in a recently open cave near dalish camp found a sword that costs 510 g n does 270 dps with 2 slots and bunch of other crap but impossible to get 500 g so far lol a filename sells it

Has anybody ever tried the Barbarian's Blade thats sold in the Black Emporium?
I haven't bought it yet but its stats look very legit.

Add to this list Sword of Mercy, 38 physical, 2 rune slots, +attack speed, +attack (don't remember exact numbers). Was a 'giftable' item for Fenris, but he didn't care too much for it.

I personally used Bloom, with the Sword of Mercy as a secondary whenever I ran into Cold Immune enemies. Between these two myself as the 2 rune slots allows them to have the highest possible raw damage, but I really liked the healing on Bloom, and slotted the +37% attack speed rune to take advantage of that. My Hawke was like a ninja monkey, but with a giant axe instead.

Runes: 2 (37% Attack Speed) (10% Damage)

I used this on my warrior for a good time, its very effective if you stack it with other haste effects, like Isabela's friendship bonus and reaver/mage haste etc.

It does cost a fair amount but If you cant find better its a decent one.

anyone know what the best maul is in the game? or did they just sort of got forgotten?

Theres a maul that the merchant in the Wounded Coast sells in ACT 2, I think its called the Void Hammer. Its very expensive.

I am using a maul called "Sundering"
Stats are:
38 Electricity Damage (62 dps)
6% Critical Chance
16% Critical Damage
10% Physical Damage
5 stamina/mana regeneration
no rune slots though
looks like void hammer

Location: Recently Opened Passage in Sundermount (if you go through the dalish camp and keep to the left you cant miss it.
Inside you will fight golems, revenants, skeletons, demons (shades rage and desire)
There are several unique items in the cave, you can get (i cant remember the names sorry)
There is a golem merchant in there wich sells numerous very good and very expensive items (including Sundering and a very nice bow i believe).
the cave is not open in act 1, in act 2 he will not sell Sundering but different loot (also very powerful for that time in the game)
