I've just defeated the Dragon in the Deep Roads (on Nightmare as a warrior, if that makes a difference for item drops), but it didn't drop the Warplate of the Fallen. I've read from some other posts (gamefaqs & the wiki) that the Dragon is supposed to drop this armor. I watched my friend beat the Dragon on Hard, and she also received the same items (a shield and a bow). Does anyone know where I can actually get this armor piece if not from the Dragon?

It drops from the Dragon. Did you try reloading it and doing it over?

Same thing just happened with me just now, he didn't drop it and that fight was tough.

Well, this is weird. I beat him again, and he dropped the same items (shield and bow). My friend (totally different computer/game) received the same items, too. No one has acquired Warplate of the Fallen from anywhere else?

Same problem here..the dragon drops nevarran lancer (longbow) and winter weight (shield) for me. Can't get the chestplate. Reloaded once already and that fight is tough on hard. (basically a long kite fest, can't imagine what a pain it would be on nightmare)

This might be a stupid thing to ask and I don't mean to insult your intelligence, but are you just looking at the initial items that show up when you click to loot the dragon or are you actually scrolling down to see all of the loot the dragon dropped? Or looting all and checking your inventory? Again, sorry if you have. It took me a while to figure out that I could actually scroll the looting screen to see items past the first two+money.

This is weird..I did the fight yet again and still only see the shield and longbow in the loot popup for the corpse. But I check the inventory and hey it's there...looks like you get three items from the dragon, not two, but only two of them show up in the loot window.
