If anything, the reverse is true -- but that wasn't even the main reason (my friend and I are used to very difficult environments -- SCA may be a challenge for some but it wasn't to us). Actually, Yelpir was talking about the much tougher areas later in the quest. The quest is progressive in difficulty, which means it gets harder as you advance. Since you left half way through the quest, you missed all of the nastier stuff. The dragon lairs were not meant to be very tough, as they are required to be completed to give access to part of our epic item shop. After the dragon lairs, comes the more nastier stuff, as you battle your way through the Lost Isle of Rhun, The Abyss, and Hell. Even the puzzles become nastier as you progress.

Yes, some of the areas are long, and take awhile to complete. The quest is meant to give your characters plenty of things to do for a long time. There is nothing worse than getting your character to level 40, and then running out of things to do.

We have had a couple players playing almost non-stop, so that they could complete the main quest. Then they told me how much they loved the quest.

I know that people have different play styles, and some may not like the quest, but you will never know until you try it from beginning to end. If you are one who likes to challenge your brain as well as your character building skills, then you may enjoy the quest.

Also our server is more than our main quest. We have dozens and dozens of stand alone quests, and also our main drow houses quest, which is still being worked on.

We have many areas that are suitable for role playing, such as our elven city of Evereska, home of the true elf bow quest. This quest is based on skill checks, and of course a little combat, and only the true elf will prevail.

Some of our new features include: Rewards for high xp, heal potion stacks that never run out, free crafting, free releveling and alignment changes, and our new xp banking system.

Please come give us a try, as we have something for everyone.

We are still adding new quests, and new features to the server. Treasure chest rewards have been much improved, and all chests now respawn their treasures, even unique chests.

We have started a new series of areas, which will feature unique chests which may explode, or spawn creatures. When complete, these areas will feature a new custom spawn system, that spawns more creatures for each party member. In the future, a new rebirth system will be added. More details will be posted later.

My humble apologies to MagicalMaster. I made the unforgivable mistake of dealing with two separate issues in one post. My thanking MagicalMaster for his kind review and my subsequent comments about the server were not in any way intended to be connected to each other. I was certainly not intending to imply that I had any knowledge of why he and his friend left. I was simply trying to give additional information about the server to new players so that they could decide whether or not they wanted to give it a try.

I've been playing here for a month or so, and I really like the setting because of the loads of lore that the creators have implemented. Very friendly DMs and players, and many interesting places to visit or explore. Even more fun if you know a bit of Forgotten Realms lore.

I would classify the server as challenging, but when you start on the main quest, it gets really interesting and the challenge increases with every step of the quest.

I've been max level for some weeks and there's so many quests that I simply haven't had time to do even half of them. The story dialogue is very well written, and the puzzles are real brain teasers.

So if you like a decent challenge and have a thing for FR lore, and good stories, and like that the fun only begins at level 40, then I would recommend this server.

Thank you for that, Snottling. I'm glad you're having fun here.

New updates have been added. We now have a fully working rebirth system, with many new powers, and options for your characters. Some of our other features include: free releveling, alignment changes, xp banking, subraces, and many other fun things. Crafting is completely free, no gold or skill points needed. Cloak crafting, invisible helms, item naming, appearance changes, weapon visuals, and even heal potion stacks that never run out. No more having to move heal potions to your quick slots.

We also offer many options for the classes that need a little help. Spells have been edited, and items can be purchased to make them even better. Armours with unique summons, and even weapons with special powers. we have something for everyone.

Even though our server is more focused towards action, we have not forgotten role players. we have areas designed for role play, and quests as well. Do not worry about wasting skill points in conversation skills. We have quests that require these skills to succeed. Of course there are many unique items to help with that. If enough players come, we will return to scheduled dm events. Not long ago, we had 11 players on at once. Most have told us they enjoy the server, and the players here.

We hope you will come give our server a try. Everyone is welcome.

My cohorts and I have been enjoying this server for a few months now.
We are old battelworn campaigners, who have been everywhere and seen that.

This is SO refreshing!
The admins and dms of this server have removed all the boring, bookeeping, fiddly bits, and allowed for just pure monster squishing, battlecrying, puzzle solving, fun.
I am so impressed with the beauty of the place, and the well thought out and scripted quests, that it is hard to get over it.
Lets just go play, OK!?!

The people are nice. The DM's are helpful. The quests are numerous, well scripted and easily accessable. What more could a gamer want, I dunno.

I'm happy to see that you are getting to areas that I had long wanted to put in, but never had enough time to get it all done. ]                                      I have been playing this server since 2006 back when it was just Rhun and it was always a good exciting server to play on.  I have been playing this server from back when it was Old Legion of Rhun and we have been making changes with our server, and we are seeking some new players. We have had some changes with our building staff and dms as some do not play as much as they did .The server has decided to switch from the roleplay section of Gamespy to PW Action. We all still encourage people to roleplay if they want to , but we have always been more suited as an action server. We hope that you will come join us and help us become a better place to play.
